Cheers Pepe, I was wondering how you made them, I've been thinking about making myself some. It doesn't look too difficult so maybe I'll give it a go.

Evening , just got back from a very pleasant afternoon with Mr Sunday and the kids. We went for quite a long walk (4 miles, but seemed much further with 4 kids, 2 of which are 2 year olds, one who is 5 and one who is 9...and 3 of them wanted to be carried most of the way back!), to feed the ducks, then back to his house for hot chocolate, which then turned into the kids all having pasta for tea together, and we came home when he went to drop his two back at their Mum's.

It was lovely, hard work but fun, although it was a little bit marred by him saying 'do I get a weekend off next weekend then?', which I know was a joke, and I keep telling myself not to read anything into it (because he's way too polite to say that if he actually meant it), but I can't help fretting about it and wondering if it has been a bit too much.

Sal if you are around on FB, give me a shout and I will show you a photo. He's on my friends list but his profile pic is a photo of a pair of muddy trainers, so you would still be none the wiser!

Pap - Have you actually asked your mum about the £90? Worst she can say is no. But I do think you'd be better making the leap and getting a room/flat share....if HB will cover it then you'll be no worse off and you'd be out of the situation where you seem to be taken for granted.

Well I've had my 3 bird roast.....looked lovely, smelled lovely, the gravey made with the juices was to die for but the meat itself was slightly overshadowed by the stuffing.....it was nice but in a sort of "I've been out to a chain pub for a roast dinner" sort of meat....IYKWIM  We ate about 1/3 of the meat, cat's have had a good feed and there's loads left for tomorrow. So for £9.99 it wasn't bad value but not really something I'd buy again. (glad I didn't leave it until xmas day or I'd have been disappointed)

Hmm, think I'm going to go to the German Market in a bit. I'd planned to go today then sister stuffed everything up. I'm a bit tired but I think some fresh air and gluhwein would do me good!

Why do some people on forums have to be mean and unhelpful.
