I think being open to the possibility of having a relationship does inevitably mean opening yourself up to being hurt. And it hurts like hell, but you do get over it.
I never thought I could get over Shrek, because I had never experienced a broken heart before, but I AM over him. I feel sometimes like I will never get over Mr Sunday, but that's because at the moment there is a tiny flicker of hope. I know that once that is gone, I will start to get over him.

Please don't take this as criticism but your destiny is in your hands. When we chatted on your diary earlier you said you could be debt free in 2010, then leave your job, move etc. That is only a few months away and totally achievable - you can do it! Your life is not on repeat unless you allow it to be
Take care of you :A
That is true, I just think how much my friend's lives have changed over the last few years and mine hasn't - all my choices I suppose, it was allI could cope with, I had other responsibilities and I know now I could change things. I think today though I couldn't really fit in with my friends? my best and oldest friends (it wasn't one of them that made the quip about me not coping although it came up in conversation again)
and it is just hard to see what the point is, what is my ultimate goal?
Again its just something I have to work out.

Boots have a campaign to 'Change one thing' every New Year - I quite like that idea. Baby steps and all that. Maybe we should all resolve to change one thing this year, something small, but that will have an impact on our mental/physical/financial health.
It sounds like you need to just make small changes Buffy - you don't have to know exactly where you are going, sometimes you just need to take the first step and it becomes clearer as you go along."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I agree with Snaggles, baby steps is the way to go. I've made so many changes this year, when I look at the whole thing I would never have thought I could do it, but just looking at one tiny thing at a time makes it achievable.
I've got to go to bed now, I hope you feel better soon.
Night xUnless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

:T Snaggs, I agree... Do I feel a new thread coming on? 2010 has to be a better year for all of us. This year in fairness has been quite pants for more than a handfull of us and it has to change! We have to make that change, and together with everyones support will be much more easier/motivating0 -

Yes you and Pap are seriously inspiring. xxxxx
And I know I have changed stuff, things are better in lots of ways, I think it is I just don't know why I am doing it all. and I could clearly see the motivation in my friends, they want better lives for their children, their purpose is fixed. I feel mine isn't anymore. I feel all at sea.
thank you all for caring honestly you help me so much (((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))Nevertheless she persisted.0
