For his money or his life!!:D
But did he try and deliver???
He did deliver - my third one was born unexpectedly at home, and as the midwife didn't turn up until 40 minutes after the birth, and the ambulance near the end of the birth, he had no choice but to deliver his baby himself! Not many men can say that.
Whether he stood or not to do it, I wouldn't like to say, as frankly, I had other things on my mind at that point than whether my OH was standing, sitting or flying. :rolleyes:0 -

Procrastination can be costly.:money:
Prices already back to just 10% under peak..... So anyone buying on a tracker has pretty much broken even versus the national average rent at a 5% plus yield.
You can get flats in my area for about the same as the beginning of the year maybe even cheaper. Therefore FTB's in my area are no better off especially as rent is reasonably cheap.
Houses are more especially those over 300K so it depends on where you live and what your buying.0 -

The idea of almost universal home ownership is new, the historical norm is that housing is owned by a monied few and the masses rent. Nothing wrong with that in itself, but don't confuse a historical anomaly with a right. If you don't want to slave for 25 years to pay a mortgage, you can slave for 60 years to pay rent, it's your choice.
Anyway houses are affordable to two people earning average wage, and it's a fact of life that anyone on their own is competing with people who aren't.0 -
