I didn't say one day history wouldn't repeat itself either.
I admit to missing your "if". :beer:0 -
If we are using the bible as a reference, it is interesting to note that the one and only time jesus became aggressive was when he was kicking the moneychangers out of the temple.
For moneychangers, read bankers.
He had something against bankers and knew they were up to no good.
Fast forward another couple of thousand years..............

I don't know how old you are, but I thought that once.As far as I can see, reading the thoughts of the most prolific posters on here, there is no chance I will ever get a house. I can't afford one now, and they are just going to keep going up and up faster than my wages. Therefore I never will be able to buy one.
I wonder if they will still keep going up even if no one can afford one?
When I was 30 I bought a caravan to live in.
A couple of years later I got my hands on one of the first ever SO bedsits on a council road.
Sold that 7 years later, was in NE.
Then I moved hundreds of miles away to where houses were cheaper/affordable ... and aged 40, I bought one.
Changes of circumstances meant I couldn't really afford to maintain it/pay the bills, so sold it again.
Just believe one day you might be able to ... and maybe you will.0 -
And don't buy an i-pod.
