M&S price glitch: 75% off alcohol gifts!

mine is still saying not yet dispatched but i can no longer change 2 of the 3 ites i ordered.

I only ordered 5 festive fizz, 1 wine cards deck and 1 after dinner selection set.

Didnt want to be greedy thinking it would instantly get cancelled plus i wouldnt know what to do with all the extra as i dont drink.

So im hopefull nine goes to despatched soon, i ordered at 8.50am and delivery is expected for the 8th.

next time i might just go all out and chance my luck

Thats the troble with glichs, mega big orders alerts the company to the problems.......

OMG my order has moved to despatching soon, I can't believe it, I only ordered what I needed for presents, a few festive fizzes and a wine rack thing for christmas presents, and it looks like they will honour it. Way to go M&S I'm a very happy customer

i know people have been getting larger orders for £3.50, but im happy with the price i paid
in case anyone wants to know, i placed the order about 1/2 hour after i originally posted the glitch, so it took its time!

i woke my g/f at around 4am and told her about it and she was like EEK! she jumped up and ordered around 6 items which have just changed to 'despatching soon'

well done to those who are getting theirs and good luck to those that havent yet! i suspect there is going to be plenty of drink on people's tables this christmas!!

I know some people have been harping on about greed etc (give it up, it's one of those things that you know is always gonna happen), but I'm so chuffed for everyone that are getting their orders. What a great Christmas treat for MSE-ers :snow_laug. And well done to M&S. The nice thing is the little later orders seem to be getting honoured as well as the [STRIKE]greedy[/STRIKE] "large" orders.

Well, I resisted the temptation to peek in my emails all day from 2 o'clock yesterday till this morning and I'm absolutely delighted to say that my £3.50 order was despatched yesterday and is tracking :j estimated delivery the 8th.
I'm so pleased that the OP's order has now despatched and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everyone gets their orders soon.

I am glad that people are getting their offers too, even though I missed out on the big glitch, but an £800 order is truly taking the !!!!. Some greed is good but this sort of thing makes me sick. What if more people placed orders like this? M&S is a big company but I doubt it would be able to absorb losses like that for very long. I'm all for consumer power but sometimes I feel we make it impossible for retailers to give decent offers when they get exploited like this.

Even though I didn't get a massive discount, and most of these items were gone, I still got a super good deal along with the mens toiletries glitch. In MSE terms I paid a reasonable discounted price for my items, in normal retail land I got an absolute steal. Thanks OP.

I'm still waiting for mine to be dispatched, I ordered 6 items about 5.30 on the morning of glith and had a delivery date of Dec 8th. It doesn't look like mine is coming. Oh well was worth a try!
