  • I'm thinking that this will cost M&S 100's of thousands. Unbelievable that they have honoured all the orders. I bet in January M&S will report loses!

Yay, mine has been despatched: In case anyone is keeping tabs I'm in London and my festive fizz is included in the total.

A small order and not all codes used, but I got around £90 of stuff for £18. Most of mine will be extra gifts but a couple of bits will go to the charity I work for as raffle prizes as we are usually expected to donate something each year.

The fact that they do seem to be honouring the orders has given them huge brownie points with many shoppers though, loads of people added extras to their orders that weren't in the 75% off glitch and loads more will make subsequent orders confident that M&S is a good place to shop.

I like 'em better already! ;):D I even placed an order for 3 rolls of gift wrap and two dressing gowns.

Totally agree with you there. I love M&S anyway but this has made me think even more of them. I am just worried that some have really take the p$ss and put orders through for £1000's, if these are being honoured then it will surely put them seriously out of pocket.

I would of thought even all our orderds wouldnt of been more than a few thousand pounds, I would of thought its highly unlikely that they would of sold all the stock they had before christmas, with the price they buy the stock in at Iam sure there is a huge mark up on the rrp. Cant see it really affecting there overall takings for the season..

But hay Iam not complaing I will be telling all my guests that there fab pressies are from the best deal Ive ever had from marks... that is IF it turns up! I orderd 24 but only because thats how many guests I have on xmas day. I onlu orderd what I needed...

  • Got my dispatch email late last night - so pleased! I wasn't expecting them to process it to be honest, although I wasn't greedy, managed to get 2 port sets, 1 whiskey set and 3 festive fizz sets for £3.50! :-)
