Sorry to hijack. The £1000 thing, is that new proce or second hand value?
Thanks
Phill
current second hand value, not a strict rule but a general oneHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -
I would-in fact to be more accurate, I did!0

What does Fixtures and fittings mean under Assest and does the section on the online form for Assets where it says Cash in bank, building society or similar account only required for cash over £1000

Fixtures and fittings are furniture and things like that I think. Unless you have something of particular high value, again, just write None.
You should write down the balance of your accounts, even if its very small.0 -
Hi F&F's would mostly be used by businessess for example a pub may have 50 tables and 100 seats so worth the OR doing something about themHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

I have allready put the small balance of my 2 accounts on another part of the form online under Bank Accounts so was not sure if to put it under this section also

Thanks debtinfo, that clears that up-when I first got my SOA I was ready to list my wardrobes and everything  bet the OR would have loved that-would have given them a laugh anyway0

someone told me that if the money you have at br date is what is allocated for monthly living expenses, then you don't put anything under cash assets. however if you have £500 above what is allocated, then you declare this.
is this right peeps?0 -
Who would have £500 over?
;)
