Hi All,
I have nearly filled in all the forms and i have left the Assets section until last. What do i need to list on there and what should i leave off. I dont have any bond's or insurance premiuims of any kind. My girl friend owns most the stuff in the rented flat but i have a desktop pc that i use for my job searching and appplications. Do i need to list my PC and things like my clothes, dvd's and cd's etc as i sont want someone to turn up one day and take the pc and things away without any notice.

We were able to keep all our belongings so don't worry. In this situation assets are things of value of over £1000 (I think, please would someone confirm, I have forgotten!) or more, jewellary, paintings, expensive watches, grand pianos etc0

Hi chris
General rule of thumb-list all vehicles. Anything else over £1000 you should declare, anything below should be OK.

Hi,
So i am ok and should be fine keeping the PC and i do not have to list any at all. I only have a few DVD's, CD's and thats about all i own apart from the things i ware.
I do not have any expensive things and the pc is worth about £500 or less i think
Many thanks i just did not want anyone knocking on the door and taking them you see during bankruptcy. Do they ever visit homes
Sorry i am worrying to much as its all a first time for me this is

No, the OR is not a bailiff. You would be in serious trouble for hiding assets, but it sounds to me like you have nothing to worry about
Unless you have an original picasso you're not telling us about0 -
very rarely do they visit homes, usually for housebound people or for people who they know to have lied to them, maybe 1 in 1000 if thatHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

Many thanks,
Sorry i thought they was like bailiff where someone would have come round and listed everything and take items of worth. Sorry me getting it wrong again.
I do have a car but fingers cross it sells on ebay this week. I put it up for the value that parkers guide price said and i have kept the info about this. I think there is part of the form that says list cars you have sold in pass 6 months so i guest this does not come under assets.
No picasso master bits here sorry LOL

Don't be sorry-I was convinced I would lose my couch until the lady at debtline told me off for being daft!0

Thanks
