Hi Debbie,

Thanks

Another query for you 'professionals' pls.
Been contacted today by various customers on my given territory to say that a new rep has been dropping books in and saying I've finished  and she's their new rep!!! Has angered quite a few and needless to say caused quite a bit of hassle.
Am trying to sort out myself (turns out the newbie has just moved in very close to my given territory - it's the far end of town for me) i.e. put a call into the new rep, emailed my SL and sent a text to my ASM. Still waiting for all of them to get back to me.....
Assume this IS an error i.e. they don't just take your given territory off you if someone moves in closer to it do they?
Any tips/pointers/advice much appreciated. Thanks!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Just want to have a rant. I had my campaign 1 delivered on 29th December minus my campaign 3 brochures as the carrier said they had not been put on his van??? AFter many emails to Avon I was told I would receive books today....... they are still not here!!! bit annoyed as my campain 2 order is due to be sent off today, delivery is on Friday and because of the shorter campaign length I wanted to get c3 out to some of my customers this week!! Looks like my c3 order is going to be really pants now. Rant over.... feel a bit better now lol0

No they won't take your territory off you - if they do (usually because you aren't covering it - ie your sales are riduclous low), then they inform you before hand. This new rep is obviously just trying to nick your territory!!!!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

You can either go through the offical website (but then you usually get signed up by an asm, which happened to me, and its rubbish!) - but I'd suggest looking in your local paper as there is probably an advert in there, which will be a local sl looking for people to join. There are poor SL - but in the main, we are more interested in your long term success so will give you better support than an asm will.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Thanks, lozza; panic over - actually just made direct contact with the 'newbie' (who turns out to be a SL and PC member!!) Turns out our ASM just reeled off a load of streets to the 'newbie' - presumably without checking - including my given territory!
Our ASM's apparent incompetence has caused a lot of hassle/stress and time/effort in phone calls to both my customers and myself. Can I officially complain (is it worth it?) and/or any chance of claiming any sort of compensation/out-of-pocket expenses? (OK last comment done tongue in cheek but ASMs, I believe, are salaried and such carelessness should at least get logged officially somewhere - yes/no?)Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Yes they are salaried, employed directly by avon - and she shouldn't give out territory without actually allocating it to a rep (which would show if it already belonged to someone else), especially as the system has now changed. It used to be only asms could allocte territory - but now us SL can as well, but only to brand new sign ups, and it just automatically gives us x streets for them according to their postcode & whats free. So how that asm is going about things isn't fair - as if it doesn't get allocated to someone straight away, a SL could sign someone up, and that territory be officially allocated to someone, which would obviously lead to problems for both reps and isn't fair on either of them. I'd definately put an official complaint in.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

This happened to me with a new rep on one of my streets, she thought it was ok to drop as they are her neighbours. I kicked up a fuss and she was told she couldn't do it but I have lost several customers to her anyway as she knows these people and they feel that they should get it from their neighbour. :mad:Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. I have just looked at my online invoice for camp 2 which is being delivered to me on Weds. And these two things are listed in the not being charged for section...
1 Service Anniversary Gift FREE
1 Mood Creation Centrepiece
Does anyone know what they are and whether they are worth getting excited about?!
Thanks,
Nicola
I got a free anniversary gift for "All your hard work" it was a packet of three little scented sachets that you hang in the wardrobe. You can get nicer ones from the pound shop to be honest. I hope yours is something betterLife is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0
