My C1 isn't due til the 17th and delivery the 22nd - if that isn't pushing it then I'm not sure what is
Off to collect books tonight from a new street I was given - feeling pretty good about it (due to the new customer from next door that I got)!
Just wonderingif any of you ladies saw the small article on Avon in the Sunday Mail supplement yesterday? Was quite good, I'm just hoping some potential customers read it as well!If not I may have to put a copy in with the books I give out tomorrow!

Hi Sam
I didn't get the paper yesterday. Is there anyway you can scan it? And paste on here for us? Please?0 -
Hi aureol
I'll certainly do my best! It may be tomorrow but I'll definitely get in on here - some great facts in there which may come in handy when people are out canvassing.....

It was in the YOU magazine (with Kimberley from girls aloud on the cover) and was a column titled 'Avon- 5 things you didn't know'. For example, mainly due to the immense advertising from other beauty companies, I didn't know Avon was the third biggest beauty brand in the UK
If it isn't online I'll try and get in scanned in later on - can't do it at the mo cause I'm in work

It’s 50 years since US cosmetics giant Avon launched in the UK, its sales team becoming familiar faces on the nation’s doorsteps. Today, Avon is one of our top three beauty brands
From page 3 Avon sells four lipsticks every second Avon Ladies sell lingerie, jewellery, skincare products, children’s accessories and male grooming products to one in three women in the UK, and its lipsticks top the bestseller list worldwide. Its bestselling lipstick is the Ultra Colour Rich Lipstick and one is purchased every two minutes. Top products for this year’s party season are the new Essential Beauty Palette (£10) and Nailwear Pro Enamel varnish in Ruby Slippers (from £5). Some Avon Ladies have become millionaires There are nearly six million Avon Ladies worldwide and no wonder – there is good money to be made. While many do it as a sideline (including nurses, chefs, pensioners and mothers), the UK’s top reps make a 25 per cent commission on everything they sell. Debbie Davis, Avon’s highest door-to-door sales earner in the UK, can make as much as £250,000 a year. There are Avon Men too Sales leaders recruit a team of reps to work beneath them. Since joining this year, Rebecca Brookman from Weston-super-Mare has appointed her husband to sell products to his colleagues in the navy. Debbie Davis and long-time salesman Dave Carter from Sunderland were the UK’s top-earning duo last year, with a combined annual turnover of £7 million. They still ding dong ‘Ding Dong – Avon Calling’ was the iconic ad campaign in the 1960s because Avon was the first company to take beauty products out of department stores and sell them door-to-door. Avon is now one of the few remaining cosmetics companies to sell door-to-door, with up to 1,000 new products every year. Confidence comes with the job When 38-year-old Angie Winter signed up, she was shy and didn’t know anyone in her new neighbourhood. Six years later, she’s a regional sales leader who oversees a network of Avon Ladies and attends the gala dinners held to honour the country’s top salespeople. This year she was even chosen to star in Avon’s TV recruitment advert. They enjoy top career perks Sell £6,500 worth of products in a year and you can join the Avon President’s Club. At bronze level status, you benefit from free brochures, a 25 per cent discount on products, high street vouchers and free meals out. Those who sell £15,700 a year reach silver level while gold members (who must turn over more than £32,000 annually) can win an all-expenses-paid two-week holiday. They’re philanthropists too Many Avon Ladies organise events for charitable causes – such as Pink Pamper Parties and sponsored Pink Welly Walks to raise money for breast cancer awareness. Since 1992 Avon (UK) has raised nearly £15 million for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity.0 -
Hey everyone. After managing to deliver ALMOST all my deliveries in one day (Didn't have many this time to be fair) I have wasted the weekend with a hangover :-(.
I have to work until 11pm tonight and am running out of time to deliver the new cats!! I only have until 17 December, don't know if I'm gonna get round everyone as stupidly I didn't order as many C1's as I normally do - moment of madness I think.
I am hoping, if I stick to the schedule I drew up I can just about get to everyone - hoping I get most of the cats back or I really am up that certain creek!! x0
