Its FREEEEEEZIN TONIGHT!!!! Going to to throw some coinage in tonight, Had a cheque from an overpayment from morgage in 2008?!? £25 but its gone in and ill cash it with the money, I have noooooooooooo idea why halifax suddenly rememberd they owed me money and I didnt even know! Lovely suprise tho.

Apologies Decluttering, I didn't mean for you to be able to save for a car as such, but to put what you save towards a car. Sorry, I wasn't too clear, I se that now.

Talk about thrilled to bits!!! :j:j I was darn happy, I can tell ya! Yes, it's in a non-note pot waiting!

Sparky's got a spreadsheet already for Wednesday...it has whistles, bells an all on!! Or....so he says. :idea:

By the way folks, as I said on the previous page: If people need to count their savings before Wednesday, then I can understand it, but it would be really kind of you if you'll all leave putting it on til Wednesday. It'll be better for sparky and I, but especially sparks, who's working! Thanks a lot folks, you're a really great bunch!

morning all.£20.34 going in my pot today so far ,trying to get to my target real bad :j.going away monday to london (its my 50th birthday on tuesday but tell any one ;)lol).so should have some coins for my new pot . will be back late on wednesday so if ok will put up total on thursday . off out with dog in a bit for a nice long walk a long beach no snow here just a bit cold .

I'e been putting my £2 in the pot since I last posted [can't remember when that was !] Have been away house sitting for aaages and just have one more job next month, finishes 22 dec :eek:so need to get off my rear and clean up, not to mention sort out chrissie presents for the family!

Excited to see how much is in my magic pot on wednesday :T

Can I be added please. I really want to join this year myself.

I mentioned this to my 9 year old last year and he wanted to do it so I got him a tin for 59p and thought he would forget all about it to be honest.

He has been putting in money he has found on the street during the year, he asked me to give him any I found too. He has kept it up and would not let anyone put money in if it had not been found on the street.

I will be opening it for him on Wednesday so that he can use it to buy his present for me and his dad and he is really excited about it.

Thanks Sue. I have been sick - sick of work!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It's been keeping me busy - and off work.

I counted up all of the golden coins in my piggy wig - and will be beating last year's total...no idea by how much though as I have to empty the terramundi. I've run out of bags, so I'll bank some tomorrow and pick up more. I'm going to be using the money to pay some off my credit card in the short term, but add it to the ISA after Christmas:A For use on my next adventure next September:D

No snow here at the moment, I'm off to afternoon tea with a good friend later. Hungry already:o:o:o
