Hi Sue UU. Nice to see you about still encouraging people to save with the Sealed Pot Challenge

I missed out this year as you can see by my lazy siggy. HOWEVER. I did, as usual join our work saving club. It's ace. They take money straight off our wages (£35 a week this year for me) and then in November. we get it all back. For me it's just a bit less tempting than a home made pot I also bought one of those large can things recently and am dropping bits & bobs in, not too much though. If anyone's around the Wakefield area, these tins are only £1 in Gimmi Gizmo (a shop in The Ridings centre) Be warned though - they aint easy to get into...I had to use my mums Culinaire one touch can opener....twice!

rancid-a, it's so good to see you back again! You bet I'm still urging folk on to save, that includes you 'n all if you're coming back more often. £35 being saved per week is GREAT!! Course, as with work we could always get your wages bypassed to me so some is put in [STRIKE]my[/STRIKE] a pot for you?! It doesn't matter how much you're putting in your pot so long as you try and make it a little more regular - you CAN do it - even if tis only a few pence. Go on rancid, I won't give up on you and you know that!!!

Morning all. yes Sue, the rain stayed away for the BBQ, I did over indulge a tad though - so spent yesterday recovering. eeek!

I was pleased to hear the rain didn't spoil things LC, tho looks like you almost did that in trying to compete with your piggy-wig to see who could indulge the most!! Only kidding as you know. Well done with the £2.

Decided to find another pot for all those annoying coppers you find homeless!!!!!

Put about 20p in copper jar and £1.20 in silver jar, will go through my purse in a mo and see what i can find.................

just put another £2 in my pot. Can't believe how quick its mounting up. Hopefully I'll have enough for my holiday spending money next year.
