may I join please?
Im fairly new to budgeting but what I am planning on doing is emptying my purse each week just before pay day and putting whats left in a pot. Im hoping it is going to work and would hope to have saved £512 by May next year as this will pay for my car insurance and 12 months road tax.

Hello everybody,

Hope you're all ok and saving as much as possible.

I've been AWOL for a while but it's good to see some of the familiar names are still here, and some new ones as well,welcome.

So I've been putting little bits in the pot, but nothing to get overly excited about, a little bit more has gone in today from the deposits on pop bottles, and to hazard a guess I would say I've probably put nearly $10.00 in this week which I'm really chuffed about.

Well that's my news, short and sweet.
