    Evening All:hello:

Well I'm back from my lovely weekend away with DH and have managed to pot around 50p in bits and bobs. Also I have another 3p (whoopee!) to put in the pot from today....now I agree, this could have been more. Short story here......having just had a shower this morning, I went down to the kitchen a bit bleary eyed, but quickly realised that it wasn't just me that had just had a shower, but so had my two dogs. Hmmmm.......you guessed it, water was dripping through the ceiling onto their heads and they were looking more than a little confused (I need a smiley here, how can being confused be offensive???) Anyway, this will now need an immediate repair hopefully DH will be able to sort it, but the new sealer for the shower was over £10!! and there's still the ceiling to sort. What a lovely start to the week, but at least the dogs are clean:D

  • I've been feeding my pot periodically when I get change, but I still haven't found any road kill. I reckon everyone's keeping their hands in their pockets in my local town! I did get some change today so I'll be feeding it later. I also closed a dormant building society account (last used in 2004). Before Christmas I had the book updated and got £66 odd interest, no idea how because I only had £49 in there. Think it was when Abbey were taken over by Santander, they must have given a bonus or something. Anyway, I drew out £100 before Christmas, and got £15.51 today, which will go in the pot.
