Hiya sparky, ah but, lino was up in the bedroom and just a mat on the living room floor; dare to walk outside of that blasted square and it was splinters in your feet!!! I reckon them wash houses had to be for the uppercrusts! We never 'ad any a they where we was. I think we all become like our parents as we get older, despite saying we NEVER would when we were young. Tis the things they used to say that come out the most I think. Ah well, not to worry. Hi elizabunny, good to hear you had a lovely weekend with your DH. Bad luck with the shower and ceiling, I hope your DH is able to sort it for you. To your question, (I need a smiley here, how can being confused be offensive???), I haven't a clue, all sounds very petty to me, it'll be our smarties they're taking of us soon!!! :rotfl:

Well they say things come in 3's don't they?? So first it was car battery couple of days before xmas, had to buy a new one, then it was windscreen wiper motor had to buy a new one! and now the windscreen so am hoping thats my 3 things

Anyway got 3 lovely £2 coins yesterday in my change so £6 for the tin today :j

Hi everyone

Time for a couple of silly questions - sorry in advance.

1. if you fill your pot up -do you empty it and put the money into an account? (my pot is not very big!!) or do you just have more pots?
2. Do you keep a running total of what you put in or just wait until the pot is full then count it?

Sorry bit confused...it doesn't take much with me!!

No such thing as a silly question, it's entirely up to you, you can empty and bank or get more pots, also some people are keeping a tally, others are waiting for the surprise on 1st December.

Do whatever you feel, we're pretty lenient here and wont tell you off
