I'm glad it's not just me that remembers freezing cold lino that "invited" you to get out of bed on bitter cold mornings. Were there no darn slippers back then?? No wash house for us sparky, you lot had it made in Liverpool and until tonight I'd never even heard of em! I remember crawling into bed with a hot water bottle and curling into a ball and trying to stay there all through the night. Thoughts of waking up and not being able to turn over and stay in the same warm spots were just a dream. Thank goodness for electric blankets! So much was "good" about my "old days", but some I'd never want back!
Morning Sue
You haven't lived until you've been to the wash house for a saturday morning bath. Hot water bottles! pah, they were for the posh kids :rotfl:, and lino was a luxury that we couldn't afford
. Now I realy do sound like my Dad
. Have a great day hun

Not posted for a while but have continued to pot regularly! I read frequently and it is great to see those totals growing. I am not keeping count as I have three pots on the go and just make sure I put at least £1 between them every day! Nice surprise in December I hope! Keep this up and we will all be smiling this Xmas!!
