So, to recap, here's what you get for an effective £20.50/mth:

Sky+ HD box (generally top-rated, records upto 80hrs)
Variety pack (over 200 digital TV channels, see list)
£25 M&S Voucher
An 8GB Apple iPod Touch (pictured)

When clicking through to sky it is registering as £18pcm for non-HD and £79 one off payment so its over £24pcm, I spoke to an online sky advisor and was told that this is a mis-print on MSE site.

Is there any confirmation of this or is it a genuine mistake?

The email re Sky HD quotes "To get Sky TV you need a BT or Skytalk landline too and will pay c. £11/mth on top for it". You can also receive Sky on a Tiscali line for which no rental is charged.

I've also tried to go for the offer in the weekly email for the iPod touch but no HD pack and am getting told there is a 79 pounds one off charge (49 for the box and 30 for the setup) ... the link from the weekly email is saying that there is just the 30 pounds install fee and the box is free. I've tried ringing up Sky but no clearer. Can anyone confirm whether its a 30 pound charge one off or 79 pounds?

I've tried doing the ipod offer too, i can't see any mention of it in my basket (just the £25 m&s voucher) so don't know if that means 5000 orders have now been exceeded.

Does anyone know???

Just phoned SKY on the number on the website, and the person I spoke to had no idea about the offer at all. He said I probably had to book through the moneysaving website. I explained that it said the offer was only available by calling the number, but he didn't seem to understand! I put the phone down none the wiser.

i spoke to a sky rep who spoke to his boss and says that the £79 (£30 set up fee and £49 HD Box no HD Channels) is correct and that Martins site needs changing to mention this. When i pointed out that thier own site says the set up is free if you sign up online he said that was incorrect. He admited later that he see's it too but should not be showing as free. he did offer me to scrap the £79 charge but no ipod. Well i thanked him but it's the ipod that was the sweetner for me.

He agreed that the wording on both sky and moneysaving have to be changed as they are incorrect. The cheapest option is not £20.50 pcm but actually £24.59pcm.

It's a shame as i am soon to get an ipod touch and coul have got sky for very little for 12 months.

I'm afraid the rep you spoke to was wrong; the deal has now been updated on Sky's site to reflect the fact the box is free, regardless of whether you take the HD pack. Sky apologises to all those affected, and insists they'll recieve a refund in the next few days.

DAS (the company dealing with installations in blocks of flats in my area) have now called me back and I got the ipod offer, and M&S voucher, and free box (with no HD subscription) and just paid the £30 set up fee.

i'm interested in this deal but do not see the ipod in the basket -the same as a previous poster.
Can anyone confirm if you did /do see the ipod in the basket or does it indeed mean that the ipods have gone?

i have just had a chat with a sky advisor via online chat and he said that the ipod wont show as its a moneysaving offer and not a sky offer so the ipod will not show in the basket for anyone.
He did state to me though that 'IPODOFFER' had been tagged against my order and he confirmed that it was still the case after placing the order.
Nothing told me there were no ipods left, so i am guessing it is ok. Miaght be handy if MSE peeps could confirm though!
