  • Just a correction to the "Virgin bundle £18/mth via cashback deal".

As the deal says, FREE for 2 months then just £18 a month*(*Plus a Virgin Media phone line for £11 a month). So, first two months, £11/month and then £29/month for 10months.

After the cashback, it works out £15.17/mon{(11*2)+(29*10)=312-130=182/12=15.17}.

So it should have been "Virgin bundle £15/mth via cashback deal".:money:

    Cheers,
    StreetPrices.
  • If you are already with Virgin, but are being ripped off at £50+ a month for the same service as being offered here, can you call them to leave, assuming they dont talk you into staying and that you are out of a contract period - then go straight away and sign up using the cashback link site? Could even do it in the other partners name ...
  • Argh, just signed up for Virgin last week and now there's £120 cashback on offer - aaargh :(
  • Quidco says - 'Existing Sky customers can't purchase online'. I am existing and would be looking to upgrade but this appears not to be possible. Never as easy as it seems!

cancel it if over 12 months in and put it in a partners name
  • Have just called simplify to sign up to this virgin £120 cashback deal and they say the £11 line rental was a printing mistake and it really is £11.99. Can they do this? Their website is still quoting £11 today?
  • Was told today by Sky of two deals for me as a existing customer: -

    1) Sky HD box (Old 160gb model) and no HD subscription = £60.payment.
    2) Sky HD box (New 250gb model) Sky HD subscription = £30 payment.

Was assured the old box was new and not refurbished.

Funny how 2 weeks ago i was offered a refurbished box (bloke said it was a refurb i.e returned and checked) for £30 with no HD sub.

Signed up via Quidco for a Sky+ HD offer in November. Waited for the rebate - no worries, they can take some time. When it still hadn't arrived made enquiries only to be told Sky only accept enquiries like this within 70 days. Gues that's what I get for being patient! Quidco and Sky - boo!

Here is an excerpt from the "Cheap Digital TV Deals" page:
Free to use site Topcashback* is offering £150 to new customers taking triple cable packages, but it isn't guaranteed. If you're unsure how cashback sites work if if they'll work for you, read the full Cashback Sites guide before pursuing this.

It has been mentioned that the £150 cashback is only applicable if a new customer goes for a triple bundle.

In the past, I have heard that new customers who ordered a dual bundle or just the Virgin TV package received the cashback.

Does anyone know more about this?

Just checking. My deal from virgin is still a cracker but can I get it lower
I have m tv m broadband free telephone calls 24/7 and a pay as you go mobile
I pay £18.99 a month including line rental after loyalty bonus but I make a lot of foreign calls even using
a low rate number my bills average £37 per month.
Still the best deal or can I find better bear in mind in mind I do not have a working BT line and will never deal with BT again after a spurious billing incident.
Or am I just to greedy
