Hmmmm Im not terribly optimistic, their customer services sounded manic in the background! she tried to be helpful but they only have the same data that we can see when we log in. She agreed to get her supervisor to check with the warehouse and ring me back if it has not been dispatched with hopefully a date for dispatch.0

just to add fuel to the fire , tried going in through quidco and ordering with the codes they give , free delivery over £75 , and the 20% off code handbag20, says that both codes have expired , although on quidco it says the codes are valid till 8 dec 2009 midnight , whats going on there ?my favourite food is spare ribs0

Look at the above post from morocha. She ordered the day AFTER me and has ALREADY received her Despatch message and she's not happy either so there you are:p. So just to re-interate - she ordered a whole day AFTER me and has already received her Despatch message whereas I'm STILL waiting to receive mine, I haven't heard ANYTHING from them since placing my order - understand now? I know it must be difficult for you:rolleyes: ................ so go and climb into your bag
:p!
Is it really necessary to be so rude? especially to a new poster. Using capital letters rarely gets your point across any better:rolleyes:
There may be a lot of reasons why you don't have your bag, maybe they were low on stock of that particular one and rather than cancel your order decided to wait for new stock. They are probably extremely busy with these sale items, and with their normal xmas orders.
Surely a couple of days is not going to make so much difference to your life?
I dont think that the postage costs was particularly high, when you take account of the amount of packaging, and the value of the items. At this time of year delivery timescales are notoriously fluid, so chill out and try not to be so nasty to other posters.0 -
Maybe they didnt expect their site and offers to be so popular and have suspended the codes...? You could always ring them if there is anything that is a *must* have, they might honour them over the phone. I do think thier customer services do try to be helpful.0

Poor cutekitten, to be fair it did look like she was being specifically gone after.
Anyway, if Koodos do come back to me about dispatch. (I dont think its gonna be todaynow ) I will update. Fingers crossed they will have a dispatch date, I do really want that bag.

Fingers crossed for you
The problem is when really good deals get posted on here or HDUK the site with the deal gets absolutely swamped with sales. Last Jan loads of us stayed up for the Boots 75% off sale. It went live at 3.30am but with the sheer volume of order we crashed the site and i think it took them days to get it back up and running if my memory is right! And thats a big retailer like Boots :rotfl:
From past experience with various companys when there is a lot of people ordering the same items at more or less the same time there can be a problem with the stock system working effectively. I am not saying this is the case here but i am sure the sheer volume of sales because it was posted on here probably took them by surprise
Thats MSE power for you :rotfl:Member of Thrifty Gifty ~ Making money for Christmas 2010:£2 Savers club member no 40 ~ £54Amazon Vouchers BingoPort ~ £10Dooyoo Challenge Jan ~ £24.07 / £20.00 Yippee over target :j0 -
thanks, hehehe amazing that boots website crashed! although not, i imagine, so funny at 3.30 in the morning.
Oooh I hope thats me this year, waiting up till 3am, it will be like being a real MSE'er0
