I'm a bit confused ...................although 5000 is a lot in fact on 5 out of 30936 members have that many posts at present :-/

I think it should be left as it is  :)

Will we all start from scratch when we move over or take our counts /stars with us?

I agree with Traf on the above.

I think it should be left as it is, and take them with you to the new forum. But I like Ally's idea of the sparkly ones, after 5 it would be a good follow up for them there Gobby ones oldies ;D ie Traf, Sheel, Fran & 160 & Rush. ;D You could go silver first then gold, it would give them a sort of reward for all the posts they have done.

I like the idea of the stars changing colour after you get your fifth star. I'm a bit off that at the mo, so I still have something to aim for ;D

What about board guides? Will their status still be the same with 5 green stars on whichever board they belong to?

I think the numbers should stay the same for all star counts. Don't think people need any more excuses to waffle on! ;D

But we can't wirm until the posting thing is sorted on the new forum.
As you may have noticed it gets a bit thingy after 10 posts or 20 and so on it just accepts them, where they go I have know idea yet ???

You just change on edit options to view 40 posts instead of the forum default of 10.
