I have to admit I'd rather save my money and go to South Africa in 2010 - in reasonable, but not outrageous, comfort.

There's something to think about :D
    Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac ;)
  • My first ever post on this site just to say you have to go!!!

If you don't and England are playing you will never forgive yourself and may go on a destructive spending rampage... now what's that going to achieve..

Oh no - please, please do go SC. When I was in debt I threw caution to the wind and spashed out on a trip to the British Grand Prix - Formula 1. Spent far too much money, but have fantastic memories.

I know you can't afford it, and it goes against everything else you are doing, but sometimes things like this are worth it.

If your mate can't go I'm sure you'll have loads of offers!

From a woman who hates debt and football equally, i would go. Its going to put you back a bit financially, but its a life experience - go for it!!!

We seem to have got a bit more time to decide and to be honest I'm not as 'up for it' as I was before. If I can wait and see if England are in it then I'll definately go. If they aren't I think I'm gonna pass on it! :o

  I just typed a long(ish) from-the-heart response to this....then my browser crashed

    Basically it contained the words:

life experience you must go will be amazing whoever plays
don't be worried this might knock you off track we are here to support you
life's not a dress rehearsal you will love it

I think you get the picture.

Hope you go. And if England are in the semi final, just how cool would it be to see Gerrard rifle another one in like that today? God I love that man. :D

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
