Go for it - it only comes along every 4 years you'll remember the experience for a long time to come. I went to the Commonwealth games when they were in Manchester and I AM SOOOOO GLAD I did, I wouldn't have missed "super sunday" (paula radcliffe 10000 metres, johnathan edwards triple jump etc etc) for anything. It's something I'll never be able to do again (well might manage London with a lot of £2's saved!!), but the memories live on.:D

If watching a World Cup semi-final is not one of the things you ought to do before you die, then it blooming well ought to be. Dont hesitate, you know youre just asking for permission to go. Go and for once, live now and pay later. Its an experience of a lifetime and you will always remember it.

Well mate, prob not what you expect to hear from a die hard Norwich fan (who btw people got his season ticket on thursday which means an 8 hour round trip each home game lol!) is i would say don't go...my reasonings!

    1) England WILL top the league
    2) you'll get further in debt
    3) why not once debt free save up for South Africa, (thats my aim!!) and make a proper trip of England retaining the World Cup
    4) its only the Semi's not quite the final is it!
5)....ummmm ahhhhh its in Germany! ;) (joke people!!!)

    Will

I've been thinking of you whilst cooking dinner and if it were me I'd sleep on it tonight. If when you wake-up tomorrow you think 'yes, I really want to go' then do it with no regrets. If you wake-up still unsure in any way, then leave it, as you won't enjoy it, and that would be a waste of money. Only you know how you feel inside, and you've got to trust yourself. You will make the right decision.

    I'd go....no questions

Sometimes you only get one chance of doing something like this and you have to grab it with both hands.

    I've got a real dilemma!..Should I accept?
First of all football is clearly important to you and you would kick yourself if you let oppotunity pass by. more importantly you should let friend know intentions asap whether or not and particularly if they gave you ticket. you shouldn't mess your friend about- they may have to make other arrangements. the only drawback I can see if whilst you have paid off alot of debt (well done) you are still recovering from over spending in may (if my memory of previous posting is correct). are you sure you can make up for overspending in July - you need to stop the rot before it sets in
