SS Dilemma

I've got a real dilemma!
I've been offered a free ticket to the first World Cup semi-final! However, I would need to pay for flight and accomodation!
Now England could be in this semi if they don't top their group but even if they aren't in it, it would still be an awesome experience.
I'm probably looking at about £200 for flights, room and a few beverages!
Should I accept?

Yes for the experience but you have to work extra hard to make up the cash & hit your October deadline! The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0

YES!!! then sell it. i'm led to believe that these tickets are highly lucritive, you could pay a chunk off your debt and still afford to go to the pub to watch it!0

That would be breaking the law though!
It's not one I can sell anyway! 0 -
Yes, you'll kick yourself silly if England are playing and you'd knocked back the chance to see it.
Perhaps cut down on some of the fishing to make up for the cost;)0 -
SS, How important is football to you? Would you have paid for a ticket? I think you have mentally see this ticket as costing you £200 (I think you're being optimistic with this figure personally). What are the chances of England playing this game? It's a tough one, how about you find out how much it's going to cost you realistically and then draw the cash out of your bank, seeing it in the "flesh" may help to focus the mind and make the right choice for you. Let us know what you decide!Saving for an early retirement!0

GO Whats £200. :j :j :j
JoeYou can always get more with a kind word and a 2-by-4 than with just a kind word.0 -
I'd go, it'd be pretty amazing. Just work extra hard to find the money in your budget to cover it.
Are you sure you'll still get flights and accom though? The people at my work travel to Germany a lot (that's where head office is based) and we're having an absolute nightmare trying to find flights and acomm, as you'd expect. If you haven't got anything organised I think you'll struggle at this late stage...0 -
