Please read all posts. I didn't say i intended to. It was an idea by Hamish to get me into an overpriced home.

Im a bear. Its in my blood.
  • Buy a flat. Build equity. Meet a nice girl that also bought a flat. Sell your flats for a nice big deposit. Buy a house.

    Thats the way it works.

Yes. The world would be a much nicer place, and much easier for me to understand if everyone else were just like me. If only everyone else behaved like me, wanted what I wanted and saw everything through my eyes, there would be no problems, no conflict; just safe, predictable pencilneck nobodies going through the motions.

That's the way it should work.

Will you still be a bear when you've bought your house and it continues dropping in value?

Im not intending to buy a house anytime soon. Im not interested in getting into mountains of debt just to own a house.

Buying an affordable home and seeing a price drop or rise of a couple of thousand wont cause me any concern. Im not one of those that bought at ridiculous prices during the boom and i never intend to be in the same boat as them.
