Haven't had my points taken off anything I've taken back to store yet. You would have to be very unlucky and get a 'jobsworth' for this to happen

I have had points manually removed for refunds twice at 2 separate stores. However, bonus points were never removed because the SAs can never figure out the receipts!

Re 02 topup. Do you have to have an e topup card, or can you just purchase a topup voucher in Boots?

We drove past this on the A13 a week or so ago. I'd never seen one before. Is it just like a normal Boots but discounted i.e. toys, toiletries etc? Thanks.

Beckton has 2 parts to its out of town experience, its the one by PC WORLD and Sainsburys, tucked away next to the Next Outlet and Argos. It isnt open long hours like the other stores around there. Probably just normal 9-6 or something like that. Inside I think it states clearly no refund and they stamp your receipt. It's not a massive store at all, and it only stocks a select few things and then each item they fill up about 2 shelves with, so very few different lines. But they do have a lot of the more expensive shampoos. They had Soltan kids suncream, factor 15 pack, where you get a suncream and a top coat, was only £2.50 and works fine on adults, is the usual £7.99 size on their own packaging.

Toni and Guy massive pump shampoo and conditioner, £2 each. Some sanctuary stuff. I wouldnt travel miles to it unless you know they have what you want and you fill your boots.

They did have kids stuff, some reduced clothing but probably no more than a normal out of town store
  • I am starting to become addicted to Boot's Clearance ... It's also worth mentioning that they have things on sale from 25p upwards. They tend to sell lots of stuff from within the same ranges. At the moment as well as Sanctuary they seem to be selling a lot of natural collection and botanics cheaply. The opening hours are 12-6pm (I tried going there at 10am once, not a happy bunny!)

  • Managed to get some nice talc in the Darlington branch yesterday, reduced from £4ish to 50p! Another thing to add to the Christmas present box. :)
  • Just been into my local boots (Brighton).

If you purchase any painrelief tablets you get a free back care pack which includes a thermacare self heating back patch. This is currently showing on a website upharmacy.co.uk as £5.99 for a pack of two.

I paid 39p for a pack of 12 ibruprofen caplets and it qualified for the pack.

Also comes with vouchers worth over £10.50 for various products.
