Hi Shelly, I just came accross your thread and wanted to say that you've been amazingly brave and good humoured about your situation, I don't think many people would have coped as well as you seem to be coping.

I hope everything works out well for you and that you get the family you deserve.

    Hi all!!

Seems ages since I had any news to tell you. Well, I was a bit worried about my stitches last week as they seemed (to me) to be taking ages to come out. I went to my doc's surgery but the sister wouldn't take them out, she said its best to let them dissolve on their own. That night I gave one a little tug and out it came, was gross and cool all at the same time :rotfl: I've never had stitches before and expected it to sting as it came out but I didn't feel a thing. Now I've got them all out.

    Now the exciting news.....

I've just got off the phone to my consultants secretary and she said all the results have come back clear and fine!!!! :T :j :T :j The cancer hasn't spread to my womb or anywhere else. I can't believe it.....I'm all goosebumpy and emotional and soooooo relieved and happy and a thousand other feelings all at once!!!! I'm hoping he hasn't just said that, and will tell me something different next week when I go for my check-up. Hubby says theres no way he would tell me I'm all clear then tell me I wasn't. I guess I'm just so shocked to have the all clear, like I'm waiting to be knocked down again.

I want to say a very big and heartfelt thanks to you all for all your support and best wishes over the last few weeks.

    THANKS!!!!!

That's great news Shelley, I hope you're going to celebrate in style. Do you mind me asking how old you are? My daughter is attending St Barts because of abnormal smears and she's 23.

I'm 30. My abnormal cells were found during a d&c for a miscarriage.

Wish your daughter all the best from me and tell her to keep up positive thinking.......worked great for me. I still can't believe it!!

One minute I'm smiling, then I've got tears in my eyes, then I'm giggling my head off at nothing in particular. I'm just so pleased and can't believe it :D
