Not just any reindeer.....one of Santa's magical, special reindeer! :rudolf:
I'll have to pay more attention when I next read The Night Before Christmas - on Donner, on Blitzen, on Comet on Cupid, on Jinky:think: :rotfl:

Choccybix:- Sorry about your nasty neighbour and your DD. I did always tell my children that Saint Nicholas lived a long time ago and gave anonymously to the poor and that he still existed today because people give to others for the joy it brings them. Then no one could shatter their illusions but they in turn couldn't burst anyone else's bubble either.
We also have great fun filling our Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes because we are being Santa ourselves to people who have little. Then I big up the real Christmas story and all the wonder and awe that surrounds the expectation and birth of a new baby especially such a miraculous one.
My kids know that the real Santa doesn't exist anymore but that we all carry on his work so they still write letters to Santa (how would all their family know their hearts desires if they didn't? and they might get some, all or none of the gifts from their lists) but any gift is magical isn't it and opening the package is always surprising.
Having said that I'm a real sucker for the original Miracle on 34th Street, which has been remade and your DD might like to watch that and The Santa Claus with you and you could tell her that your nasty neighbour is like the doubters on those films? Hope you have a magical ChristmasProud to have dealt with our debt. DFW Nerd 1474

Morning all
Monday's and Tuesday's lists done now. A load of washing spread round the house, it's dry but cold and frosty.
Waiting for Asda order to be delivered and I've got my delivery slot booked for Christmas week. I can always fiddle with the order later, but I've got my slot!0 -
Morning all, it's a cold and frosty morning here, which is great considering that most of the roads round here were covered in water yesterday. Wonder how many people will skid on icy roads today
It's great to see the sun shining tho. I've got the heating on and the windows open a crack to try and dry the place out. I've decided to do that everyday it's not raining this winter to ventilate the place.
The hairdressers are really busy today and couldn't fit me in so I'm going on Thursday today. So that means I really neeed to work hard today to get lots of flying done, as this is really the only day this week that I can focus on it properly. This depressed girl is feeling upbeat and positive today (bet you couldn't tell;)). These are the days I make the most of. My goal is to have more "up" days and less "down" days. Ultimately to have 99% "up" days. I am challenging every negative thought that I have and trying to find a positive one to replace it. The tablets are helping but I'm still getting tremors and easily tired. Some of the tiredness is through the constant emotional challenging but I'm determined and it will be worthwhile!tinkerbellsmum wrote: »i refuse to do housework this morning as dh has took all the coffee to workPenelope_Penguin wrote: »Take that Jinky - mudbath may have a reindeer named for you, but our Esteemed Leader has named a kittie for me :A
