Hi again,
I've taken Ds2 to the Dr's ( i'm liking the new system of getting there at 8.30 when they open and waiting to be seen we were in and out in 15 mins ). He has got an ear infection and has got antibiotics.
Merry the Elf went down well and has been dragged around with us all morning.
I'm just having some breakfast then i'll get on with my list ( although if Ds2 goes to sleep i'll be joining him ).0 -
Morning everyone. I woke at 5am and couldnt get back to sleep. So I got up and painted the inside of kitchen cupboard doors. kept Jake in last night as it was so cold. Dailies are done so going to tackle kitchen now. Going to see mum today. DD and I are going to sort her clothes and do another inventory. Then its off to my voluntary job.

Morning!
Can someone please tell me what the elf thing is? I missed last weeks thread and am very intrigued.
I'm desperate to put the magic back into xmas for my 7yr old DD. A long story but I recently found out my mad neighbour told her that santa is non-existant  Just because she's brought up her DD (aged 5) to not believe, she has no right to tell other kids that. My DD says she still believes but you can see she's unsure. Such a shame, so any help with putting that sparkle back would be very helpful.
HHC at 9.45 anyone?I need direction to perfection...0 -

OK first :coffee:nearly finished - need to do something other than sit here.0 -
Choccybix it's all explained here
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1944229
We've got a gnome because i couldn't find an Elf, but basically the Elf comes to stay until Christmas when he presents his report to Santa on whether the children have behaved or not. He also finds things to do each day and creates mischief at night.

Happy 1st of December
Jack Frost has been out here, DD was so excited this morning about it. I'm loaded with the cold. I spent most of the night trying to prop myself up on the pillows so I could breathe.
So far this morning (warning those easily frightened should sit down now) I have 1 x WM, 1 x TD, 1 X coffee, decluttered kids to school, 1 x shower and another coffee. How good is that for me at this time:j:j. My kitchen looks like life of grime this morning so I really should get cracking but facebook is shouting on me:pto all the newbies.
for my pals Toots and Lady-L
