  • How did you get on Lemanie, Wilf and Miss H?

    In my HHC, I:
    tidied LR floor
emptied all bins and took out paper to recycling bin
    bleached bathroom bin
    cleaned bathroom sink thoroughly
put pillows in front of heater so they can dry out a bit

Doesn’t look a lot but it was, honest guv!

Going to see if the online banking is working again now, apparently it's "experiencing problems." Hah! Now it knows how all of us feel! :rotfl:

Lady Liberty, well done on doing so much, but don't over do it!

Going to do another HHC at 12 - join me, your house needs it!:p

    Debt-free and Proud!
Lemanie I have sent you a friend request on FB....initials AD ;)
    Thanks L-L will check :D

Thanks Rosepink - in my HHC I emptied and re-filled TD, re-filled WM, S&S the bathroom and toilet, tidied DS2's room and generally de-gibbled house back to rightful places (including hot-spots, excluding DD and DS1's pits). I know what the elves/reindeers were doing prior to delivering advent calendars and spreading Christmas joy/mischief, they have all been living at my house un-tidying things when I turn my back :D of course, it could just be my family?

Need small lay down now I think, will declutter a hot drink, winter spice tea maybe, to get me in festive mood?

holly thanks so much for the elf link. What a fab idea, I've never heard of that one before and I will be searching online later for a little helper ;)

Thanks to everyone for the other xmas ideas. We do have a lot of traditions in the house like santa leaving half-eaten mince pie/drink and thank you letter for xmas morning. We track santa on the Norad site every xmas eve, and do arts/crafts stuff throughout December. I'm sure we'll still have a magical xmas, its just that DD3 is the 'baby' of the family and once she stops believing I dont want it to feel like the end of an era. I've never confirmed anything to the older 2 and they still pretend to believe. I think they're frightened that they wont get any pressies if they stop :rotfl: Needless to say I no longer speak to the mad neighbour ;)

MissHiggerty (((hugs))) sorry to hear that. My in-laws still dont speak to any of us over something really petty. DH doesnt think they'll speak to him ever again, which hurts, but remember its their loss. They're the ones missing out on the grandkids growing up and all their achievements. Many congratulations to your DD xx

Off for another HHC. Determined to get today's star.......
    I need direction to perfection...

    Hugs to everyone else :)

I have been playing with my new attachments to my Dyson. For some reason all three of the attachments have gone missing so I had to order some more, so went for the Allergy kit and it arrived today. Ooooh I love it..much better than my old ones. Oooh and the crevice tool is so fancy it even has a fancy pull out bendy thing so that it can get round corners or in weird places :rotfl: See I'm easily pleased :rotfl: I have done 15 items ironing this morning, and swiped the kitchen. I did that yesterday while DH was painting the porch and putting together the new cabinet for out there. So now I have to focus on the living room today.. Well once I am dressed that is..lol.

Oooh and I am so pleased with myself I have all my presents for DH and friends. I'm so proud especially as I am normally getting them come Christmas Eve every other year..lol I am hoping to wrap them up this week, then next week DH is off all week and we are going out to get the final family presents and decorate the tree and house.
