Lino now out and the floor is soaking, plan is to dry it out and see if i can spot where the leak is. Hopefully it will show up quickly but then again it could take quite a few days for it to dry out. Think i'll put the dehumidifier in there tonight.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Greenbee :rotfl:i so wish i could. I think the mother has to give some details name, address and possibly date of birth but i know there is another person who lives 6 miles from us with the exact same name as hubby also hubby's father has the same name. Hubby told his father that it was his letter.:rotfl:
Glad you took the comment as it was intended... I did wonder afterwards whether I should deleted, but I'm SO cross for you I can't help being flippant

In that case, the silly woman and the CSA won't know what's hit them... they might as well give up now!

Bought myself a lovely Dyson today. Even though I had already hoovered with the Vax I rehoovered and can I say I was MORTIFIED at what it pick up!
I felt the same when I got mine - and my mum reckons some of her carpets have changed colour!

CBA to deal with the email to the landscaper today. Parents are leaving tomorrow morning (after dealing with a bit of grouting on the utility room floor!), but I'm on a governor services training course tomorrow (dealing with complaints :D) so won't be back till late. Maybe I can get it done at lunchtime

Have finally resorted to setting the timer for the heating, as the house is so damp this evening, even after the heating has been on and the dehumidifier. I resent it being on when I'm not here to close the curtains and keep it in, but then again, if I don't have some heating on, the house will get damp and cold.

Off to bed (resetting radiators and the thermostat as I go... it doesn't need to be this hot...)

  • Hugs for you and hope your LO stayed asleep, if the appointment is not urgent, easy to rearrange and reduce your stress levels then I'd change it. If none of the above apply then just try to be organised and keep the appointment

DS stayed asleep for all of 20 mins and woke up in a real wobbly I ended up with his cup(one with a lid on) being thrown on the floor so hard the lid came of so curtain in wash floors mopped and settee scrubbed by this time it is me who needs to sleep just hoping he sleeps through and doesn't wake at 3am again as for appointment going to see how is over next week if he carry on the same it might be best to go, I will just have to organise myself a bit better by then.

Hopefully tomorrow I will catch up on todays list. Hope everyone is ok will catch up with thread and then of to bed.

Spoke to a solicitor today and he said write a letter to them saying he's not the father, which i will do on friday. Wanna see what the MP comes up with from the sounds of it he's going to phone them himself on friday. After that it will have to be recorded letters all the way. I just can't believe he has to prove he's not the father rather than them prove he is. We don't know what proof they aparently have but i would think there would have to be a birth cert signed or something. If that was the case then it would be fraud as he's signed nothing. I asked today what would happen if we went ahead with the DNA and then she didn't want her son tested and stopped claiming payment, would we get the money back from the test? They didn't know.

    Hi Vanilla,

We had problems with csa years ago and whenever we wrote to them we included a copy of all letters we had previously sent and all we had received by them because they kept saying they didn't get this letter or we never wrote to you saying that:mad: So from then one we sent them a copy of everything and sent it recorded I do hope you get it sorted it is so wrong that they can do this sending you big hugs
