Way to go toochoosey. How much ironing have you done today, seems like you've been at it for ever!!

 Oh no. My worst fears have been confirmed.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Doubt it'll be any worse than previous years though. Bits tend to 'fall off' of our Xmas trees for some reason. not sure how it happens but it does:confused: It's normally looking quite naked by Boxing Day.

Well done you macpep. I ended up ironing whilst DD was in the bath and got a bit carried away. I haven't had an 'ironing fix' for about two weeks. Toots and Valli will explain.:D:rotfl: So i've just finished that. plus i tided up my wardrobe and drawers as well whilst i was at it!!:D:A

Make sure you get that half hor to yourself. Tag's orders!!!:p;):D

Off to find a list now me thinks. Back in a bit.............

Started ironing about 4 30, stopped around 8 30!!!!!! Did feed DD, put her to bed, and had a few nicotine breaks but it still isn't finished!!!!!
I am with you on the ironing fix.....hope mine continues tomorrow and I can finish the lot....It was hiding behind LR chair with loads of hangers.....the chair kept moving further and further into the LR and now there is loads more space:rotfl:

    huge hugs vanilla xx

I didn't realise it was blue until he opened it  i couldn't take it back off him. He's bad enough on just plain sugar let alone anything else:rolleyes:. My sister found that out when she gave him smarties ( with the new improved blue ones ), he turned evil:cool:. It's quite scary the effects these colours etc have on children.
  • We are out at work all day for 12 hours so have decided to do 30 mins each day to keep on top of things.
That sounds like a great idea, well done!

    How is DD2's treatment going?
Wow someone else with a powercut. We had one today too. The other week some friends of our had one for 18 hours, and they have two babies, bit of a nightmare trying to keep them warm and fed apparently.

Hugs Carol, it’s so hard at moments like that when you forget they are gone, I know it’s not the same but I keep dreaming about a nice old lady who was a bit like a granny to me and when I go and see my old congregation I still expect her to be there. So I understand a little bit, although of course it’s a million times more painful for you xx

    Welcome Wickedkitten

Vanilla It’s so outrageous! I’m fuming! Now I know why so many people go on Jeremy Kyle! I’m really glad that DH has been signed off tho, and that you got praised, quite right too, you are an absolute star the way you deal with everything. I really hope that you and DH will cope ok with the stress of this stupid CSA thing.
Could you get in touch with the man six miles away with the same name and tell him a letter for him came to you by mistake? What’s the betting that it actually is for him?
Another thought – somebody on here once mentioned that they don’t get CSA as whenever she tried the child’s father immediately left his job, claimed JSA and then got a loan, which meant that the loan payments were taken out of his benefits and that didn’t leave enough for CSA. Don’t know if that info will help you. I’m thinking it might have been Jo?

I've had a very long bath and dyed my hair (and didn't lie back in the bath while the dye was on my head) - I think I got a bit overly fumed! Was very lightheaded at the end and couldn't get out of the bath! I had to turn over on to my knees and get up that way! And I kept swaying while drying myself. It was hilarious!

Plan for tomorrow: wash up, get hair cut, do flying, gardening if it's dry (haha that's a joke, dry?), do laundry, other stuff in the same vein
