#Not a thing.. do you want my spare cat?

Oi....you promised the cat to me!!!
I don't like children really but adore my own! Well I like a few others, but not many

Oh my goodness, that it so me! I really don't do other people's children yet they love coming here. I'm soooo strict with them :rotfl:.

Right, you can all breathe a collective sigh of relief. I have got our December 'visitor'. He is an adorable reindeer with knitted scarf and jumper and a hessian shorts. He has long, dangly arms and legs and is squishy. Now I need a name....he can't be one of the main reindeer as Santa needs them. It can't be Robbie as that my DS's best mates name......any ideas?

lemanie your DD sounds like a real wee star - bless her espcially just now when you are really poorly. and thank goodness DH has seen the light!!!!! re facebook i think you have to say on your request who you are on MSE but if you havent I think its lil_me who keeps it under control but maybe someone else will confirm that and you could pm her. if you werent on facebook you had to pm pigpen with your details if you wanted to be on the card swap list (I am not on FB) - so dont worry you havent missed anything. Just shout if you are not sure whats happening at any time.
    toots xx

Thanks Toots, Lady_Liberty and Pigpen for the replies about my facebook/christmas card question on Friday, just spent an hour catching up on you all over the weekend and then got distracted by the facebook group and then popped over here to find I was 10 pages behind already. I have pm'd you Pigpen.

Thanks to Pigpen, Toots and Soappie for all your hard work again with the forum and the motivation etc. Don't know how much I'll get done again this week but will limp along and bonus, DH already hovered all LR including under furniture yesterday, he must have known! So I may do quite well today. :D

Hugs, tea and sympathy, positive vibes or kicks up the a**e showered liberally to all in need, just take what you like and leave the rest. Will catch up on you all later, have to work again now :(

I have also TWICE mopped the utility room floor, folded some TD'ing and generally pee'd about on the internet.....still not amused one bit:cool:

Why do you always mop the utility twice - are you mad
Right little one has fallen asleep while I was writing this so going to have a coffee and catch up with everyones posts and then get soe work done.

Hugs for you and hope your LO stayed asleep, if the appointment is not urgent, easy to rearrange and reduce your stress levels then I'd change it. If none of the above apply then just try to be organised and keep the appointment

In my HHC with Dusty, I decluttered myself in and out of the bath:cool:
dont want to say too much as I know my ex spies on me:rolleyes: but lets just say there was some of this:beer: and some of this:mad: and some of this:(going on last night:o

ETA:can you guess who was doing what?

I have know idea but I regularly do all four!

I bet you've mopped that utility again in the time it's taken me to post :rotfl:

Had lunch, spoken to my sis for 2 hours, I'm emotionally drained now so this has to stop. Kettle is going on, chocolate is being unwrapped and I'm going to clean DS1's room - he has tidied it all so just the wiping/dusting to do.

Huge hugs Rach - he knew how much you wanted children and he really should have said before you got married. That said he has just come through a huge period of stress but to take it out on you like this is just unfair. I hope you manage to sort things out.
Mudbath - I couldn't find an elf anywhere. I did every card shop and garden centre in the local area. Clearly a gap in the market there. Home and bragains had some good activity bits cheaply though.
Pigpen - did you get round to scanning the Gnome pattern? If so please may I have a copy?
Quillion - I love your mums knitting. I wish I was better at crafts. I made DS2 a sock monkey last night and it looks more like a rat. He loved it though and I have to make another one tonight for DS1.
Jinky - sounds like you need a hug too.

Not picking the boys up till late because they have gone to see Beauty and the Beast so plenty of time to get things sorted. HHC 2-2.30pm anyone?

Was hopin gto get a head start on todays list last night but then we had a 4 hour power cut:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
We were right in the middle of cooking Sunday dinner,we always eat late....At 8pm OH decided to put the meal out in the dark and almost all the meat went on the floor...£10 worth of beef...so most ended up in the bin and he ended up in a foul mood, managed to feed kids and we went without:mad:

Thankfully he has now been decluttered on tour and is away till Friday.

So this morning I have been to MrTs with mum and S&S kitchen, going to iron now then will see what I can do off the list

Note to self send DS1 in attic for advent calenders then fill....
Feeding 6 Adults 1 Teen a 8 year old with hollow legs and a very fussy 5 year old. Also 3 cats and 3 fishies

    Hi Annie.

I have lupus, which can be very variable (and unpredictable).

I don't have set days for jobs; when the wash bin has enough in to make a load, I do a wash. For shopping, I have an ongoing list, and shop a) when Mr LW is available to take me to the supermarket or b) if there's something we need NOW I send him to Morrison's in his lunch break. The only exception is the monthly Farmers Market and the weekly trek to the fruit'n'veg market, which I get Mr LW to do for me if I'm not up to going with him.

Other tasks - I have them listed in my PDA, with a priority of 1 to 5 (1 is MUST do, 5 is totally optional) and what doesn't get done today gets deferred to tomorrow, iyswim.

I'm very lucky in that Mr LW is willing and able to step up to the plate and help - I know there's a lot of men out there who wouldn't; and I don't have any children, so it's just the two of us to worry about.

I try and look at it this way - no-one's going to die if the hoovering isn't done.:o
