  • Is it too late for me to join this week? I'm a newbie to Flylady but would like to give it a go as I seem to struggle every week to keep on top of everything! :D x

Penny good luck to your DS
Ishtar, I am sure it'll be fine, sounds like you have put a lot of thought into it, best of luck
rach ((hugs)) no need to make an apology, don't know what to say honey. Hope you manage to talk some more soon.
    Quillion they are lovely!
    Triker woop woop for Hilda

Warning ***insert obscene language here** the WIL is back for over a month, so I might occasionally have a rant

DS1 seems a little better, thanks for the thoughts, he's still moaning of tummy pain & refusing to eat/drink incase he is sick...can see this becoming an issue if I am not careful. DPs been tormenting the dog with his squeaky toy....if you squeak it he meeps & DP being the big kid has it under his foot squeaking it which means he's now hyper.

So far I've sorted all the paperwork that has arrived since we moved & have a large box of stuff to file plus a pile of needs sorting asap. DP has just barked some orders at me that I need to clear the dining room **rolls eyes** and was sarcastic as if I do nothing (as he's now ready to stop playing on PS3 & wants to build the new vivs everyone else must jump grrr) so I best go do something...pah ttfn x x
One day I might be more organised...........

Well just managed to make some dough for pizza for dinner tonight and give the kitchen a S&S. DD has actually been eating her dinner so hopefully she will eat some of my pizza too. DS eats anything. think he would be good on I'm a celebrity!!

    Hi there,
Sorry to hear of your struggles.
Flylady might be good, although just a word of warning, it can seem a lot at first (you don't have to do it all), and also I find you can end up talking about cleaning instead of actually doing it!
My suggestion would be to list what you need to do each week (on a word file, on a board, notebook anything you like), tick off as you do, and remind yourself that you can only do what you are able to do. I don't have MS but I do have a very dodgy lower back, and so somedays just have to resign myself to the fact that it won't be happening right now (oh yeah and 2 year old DS lol). Be gentle on yourself!

I too struggle with lack of energy (M.E.) in my case. On a not too good a day I'll look at the room designated on the flylady thread and just do a little in that room. It might only be something miniscule but I feel as though I have achieved something positive and that elsewhere there are others cleaning the same room in their house. I feel less lonely and less isolated knowing that other people are following the fly lady thread, even if they achieve more.
