I was supposed to be going to visit a friend who has just had a baby 4 weeks ago and she said she would phone when she got home as she was going to 1 shop but she never phoned until 5.15 and kids were coming back at 6
I hate it when people do that... you tell them when you're available and then they ignore it and can't work out why you can't fit them in... mind you, if she only had the baby 4 weeks ago she's probably not quite recovered yet!

Went out with friends last night, 3 hour drive there, 3 hours back and it rainned all the bluddy way grrr, on the way back the M6 was shut in several places for overnight roadworks, I know roadworks have to be done, but WHY pick the night I want to use the road???? :rotfl:
I know exactly how you feel... and the diversion signs are usually hopeless too!

Was woken up by the rain several times in the night, so I've been awake reading in bed for ages. Need to get myself dressed and off to the farmers' market and to do a few other bits and pieces of shopping, then back to get the woodstove up and running and get on with wrapping and card writing!

But, to be honest, my own extra's are higher on the agenda, than flying at the moment :o
Only because of the time of year, pressies to wrap, cards to write, wine to bottle...for pressies...ect ect ect...
I might finish the kitchen list later,
Nopot2pin thats like most of us i think - its important that you do the priority things first and if for you that is sorting pressies then thats fine - if you get them done and out of the way then you can concentrate on the house - its all up to you

Torrential rain and gales here - DS2 sulking because he won't be playing rugby in it - mad child. Apparently it is so much fun when the weather's like this:confused: He has a hospital appt first thing tomorrow, and hopefully the shoulder will be about ready for some physio. The numbness has now completely worn off, and it is sometimes painful, but he is able to use his arm a bit more now.

I'm completely snowed under with work - assessments to write, lessons to plan, etc etc. so another Sunday on the computer...

I have done a few odd things on pigpen's list as well as my own, but won't get a 5th star this week - not enough time to shovel out the kids' rooms - and they should be doing it themselves!

Love and hugs for Lady-Liberty and toots - what a day. Enjoy some relaxing me time today!!

:hello:Hi sexymouse!! Love the dress - easy to dress up with bright or sparkly scarf, necklace, etc You''ll look great in it! I'll be thinking of you this week - but remember that at this stage, if you were going to be told that you had not met the standards, you would have been made aware and support put into place, so as long as that file of evidence of meeting the standards is all done, then you shouldn't have a worry. Now just enjoy all the Christmas activities with your children!
