    Morning,

Well I can confirm that my bed is much, much comfier than the old one. But guess who kept waking up last night thinking 'oh this bed is lovely and comfy'

I still ache this morning. But that's from all the lifting and removaling/redesigning of the bedrooms I did yesterday. DS now has my old bed. I've padded it out with two single quilts and a foam dimply mattress topper. He says that it's OK. God knows how cos I still found it hard with all that on it:confused:

Miss Tag is in a mega mini flylady mode this morning. She brought me a cup of tea in bed. Bless! And, has set up a mini tea shop in the kitchen. Bless! She has also made all the beds upstairs for me. Bless!

So the state of play at the moment is - The upstairs of the house is looking very good. From the stairs down it looks very bad:rolleyes: Lots to do again today. Can't do much though until DS is back from his paper round. As I need him to help me move his old single bed and mattress into the garage.

Off to find my list. Be back in a bit.
  • DS got home at 11.20 last night! And he's back for 11.30 this morning!

I have a banging headache this am. Got some hoovering to do as DD1 has a visitor today!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
  • Morning All.

Toots sorry to hear about your day out with your mum. My nan was very similar.

cyclingyorkie 11.20  wow that's late

ell DS and DD went out with their Gran yesterday and saw a magician and totday they are going out with their uncle :D. Hope to get some wrapping done as managed to find a few more that I had hidden.

Bought brazil nut covered in chocolate for MIL and she mentioned that she really dislikes them. :D Knew it was one way or another. Lucky bought her a little whisky set and know she likes whisky.

Living room not looking to bad but want to tidy my hotspot near my computer as the pile seems to be getting bigger.

May see about getting rid of some toys to make way for the new ones.

Big hugs for toots - my nan is just the same - I've no idea what to buy her for Christmas or her birthday (21st December when she'll be about 90) and neither does my Mum. I avoid seeing her most of the year, as she's similar, in that she'll make rude remarks about us (she thinks she's doing it out of earshot, but because she's deaf, we all hear it) and being ungrateful for presents. Know at least that your brother and you are together in this, and we're all behind you, sending our love.

Thanks to pigpen for the pm - I'm on to it now, so I'll probably deliver to LadyL some time this afternoon if that is alright with you LadyL?

Had a nice day out in town yesterday on my own, as my Mum changed her mind about meeting up with me cos she was with my sister. Bought myself a dress (in black) to wear at Christmas, and then bought some pink tights to go with it - haven't tried the whole outfit on together, but it's very different to what I'd normally wear. I just know that my Mum will say it's too tight though and my nan probably won't like it either, but still, I do, and that's all that matters. :p

    Plan for today is to:
    • write out the flylady cards,
    • deliver to LadyL,
    • go to MrT to get some more cards, as I forgot to get them yesterday,
    • mark the rest of my literacy books,
    • level the maths assessments done so far and work out who is still left to do them
    • put away washing that I didn't do yesterday
    • do some more washing
    • clean bathroom and kitchen
    • pack lunchbox for tomorrow
    • change sheets
    • wrap a couple of presents
    • work out who I still need to buy for
    Think that'll do.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
