back in 2003 the CSA reassesed me as having dividends but they have not calculated it properly .They said i got £23 k of dividends but that was for the year before (which i wasn't reassesed) but for 2003 it was only £7500.
Can i go back and ask them to recalculate

Of course you can ask them, as to whether they respond or not is a different matter.0

Just wondering how they got the figures and they re assesed shortly after that using old figures as well .Still waiting on my data prints before i plough in 2 feet first .Couldn't be any worse than it is :rotfl:0

Dividends would have been for the complete year before the effective date - so you should have requested a new assessment a year later when the new amount will have then been included.0

Thanks Kellogs
It is a total mess as i think my accountant had supplied them information .If they use the years before accounts then they mis calculated the ammount .Can i go back to them to recalculate or do i feel another complaint letter coming on0 -
If it has been done incorrectly then yes, it can be amended. Write and ask for them to look at it again and respond with a full reason why it is not incorrect.0

Kelloggs
The didvidends weren't even paid to me fully as they split between me and my partner .They should be able to look at the accounts from Companies house anyway ?0 -
They should but you can always send in the info aswell to be sure.0

Kelloggs NACSA have also confirmed this and i will write to my complaints officer. Also the dividends weren't paid to me either .I have a copy of a letter i sent to the agency after they had used dividends to confirm i never received dividends and they said they couldn't update the system until a certain date that they never done .I have the persons name also .
Only way they could use the dividends is if there was a departure on the case which will prove if my ex was at the back of all this .0 -
How do i know if there has been a succesful departure against me .Would they write to me and tell me but probably knowing the CSA no they wouldn't0
-
oh yes they will!
if a departure against you is sucessful then it means more money for their precious pwc, so you would know pretty much immediately! :rolleyes:NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.
and, please. only thank when appropriate. not to boost idiots egos.0
