Hi all
The slide continues - £14.35 today.
We eat an awful lot of fruit, I buy a bag of apples and a bunch of bananas 4/5 times a week at at least £2.50 a time. Still it's good to see where the money goes. Most of the rest today went on milk (we drink a lot of tea too!), bread, ham, mini pork pies - more munchy stuff.
I'm a bit alarmed to see that I have less than £100 left - must have a quiet couple of days now. I reckon I've got two grown up meals in the freezer, a packet of quorn pieces and enough veg for a couple of soups or stews (three very old parsnips that I must do something with - had to throw away 3 small carrots last week and I was so cross- I hate binning food esp uncooked!) Need a bit more stuff for the kids though.
Hope everybody is having a good weekend!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
Hi everyone,
So sorry getting very behind with posting and the budget is completely busted. My DM was taken very ill in the week and rushed to hospital, so everything has gone out of the window with loads of meals eaten out and rushed shopping etc. I am trying to get a grip on things, but I think I will have to bow out of the December Challlenge for now. I will try and post my annual total at the end of the month if I can, but I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hope to get back on track in 2010.Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

Whoops a daisy dumpling! I am up to £77.63 now, against a £75 target for the month. That should be about it now for me, aside from a couple of bits and bobs that I'll need for the last couple of days of the year. Christmas week all taken care of!Sealed Pot Virtual Sealed Pot £365 in 365 days

Hi everyone,
looking out of the window and it looks like a Christmas card, really beautiful. However have to go out later and the roads are not very good!!
Don't know how it has happened but I have not seemed to spend much on food this month. Probably because I have been using up stores and holding off buying things until big Christmas shop which will be done this week.
Hope everyone has a good day.It takes a long time to eat an elephant and I'm doing it a bite at a time!!!0
