  • Well if its our banks fault for not putting through refunds then once again it comes down to tesco, as my card is a tesco card and they are responsible for it. Tried to get somewhere with customer services to no avail so emailed chief exec, we'll see if that gets me anywhere. My money taken off 12 days ago and still no refund. Needless to say won't be using tesco entertainment again.

    dont think its really about 'getting the deal' anymore, its the fact that they have took our money and not giving it back!!

    ive not rang them today, couldnt be bothered tbh!! il ring them tomo and ask about money spent on calls etc, cos ive rang them quite a few times, gone through all the menu then got engaged tone and had to start again!! god knows how much the calls will amount to!

    Thank you for your e-mail addressed to our Chief Executive, Sir Terry Leahy, to which I have been asked to reply. Please accept my apologies for the delay in my response.

    I can certainly appreciate how disappointing it must have been when your recent order for the Left 4 Dead 2 Xbox 360 game was cancelled.

    When a pricing error of this nature occurs, we endeavour to cancel all orders before any charges have been made. However on the few occasions where our customers have been charged, we are still entitled to cancel the order and issue a refund prior to dispatching the item. This is done in compliance with the Sale of Goods Act and is explained in our Terms and Conditions.

    While I do understand how frustrating this must be, I would like to assure you that a full refund has been processed for all of our customers who were charged for this item. All refunds were completed by 2nd December and although the time taken to credit your account may vary from bank to bank, this would normally show in your account within 5-7 working days of this date. This means that all refunds should be fully processed by the end of this week.

    Once again, please accept my sincere apologies for any disappointment this has caused, however I do hope that I have been able to clearly explain our position on this matter.

    My refund finally hit my bank on the 14th December... my £5 compensation for all the hassle went in 4 days before that!

    Hope everyone else is now done with this saga.
