i've just sent tesco a very strong email, just checked my online banking and they took the money from my account on the 2nd dec for an order they cancelled on the 30th nov. Not too bothered about not getting the game but this technically theft.0

Like so many of you I too received a cancellation email on the 30th Nov and on the 2nd received a refund and then the money taken after... I only checked my statement after reading this thread again0 -
I email them yesterday no reply yet, i have also emailed trading standards they have not replied yet either.0

I'm the same as above, cancellation email on the 30th Nov and then money taken on the 2nd. Phoned RBS to see if it was pending, but its actually gone. I'm furious Tesco knew it had been cancelled and took the money anyway, but at the call centre they keep telling me if they took payment they will dispatch, despite the cancellation.

to complain as i too have had my credit card charged and no refund to date
They just insist that refund was requested straight away and to leave it a few more days. It is very annoying...0 -

Hi, i just noticed this thread and checked my cc statement online, they have taken the money out of my account on the 28/11/09 and still havent refunded it! Thanks for saying about this as i never would have checked!0

Just been in contact with Tescos asking where my refund was? She says that all refunds will be back in our accounts by Monday. We will see.
I was told that the payments were taken before the cancellations were issued due to a computer problem and a that a lot of people have been having trouble!!!
Don't think much of a computer system that shows an incorrect price for a game and then takes money from peoples account before cancelling the orders.
The computer also seems to be having trouble giving back the money it's taken.
Funny how it always works in their favour.
Anyone sent Tescos CEO an email of complaint yet? There is one coming his way from me.0 -
