  • I would like to know the answer to that as well. Why bother informing Tesco's so they can look into it???

The fact that it was not on website anymore is surely a pretty good indication that they were well aware of this anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Another question for you all... (it's dangerous when I think too much!)

I placed my order through Quidco and my cashback has been validated. If Tesco cancel my order... what happens to my cashback (am new at this!)?

I just don't understand why people should do this and ruin a bargin.Sometimes it's worth just keeping real bargins to yourself instead of posting on the net so they don't get pulled/cancelled straight when people can't help themselves to phone.
true, chasing a bargain, clicking, paying, ordering, all that palava then it being cancelled is just repetative, for once let's get the bargain:D

  • In my case it comes down to whether they want my custom in future or not. Supermarkets sell items at cost all the time, if they're not willing to drop a few quid on this occasion it'll cost them dear in the long run. Hello Mr Morrision :D

Depends on how many orders they received (which i imagine was alot since alot of people have boasted about ordering multiple copies to sell on ebay or to cex), at £15 they would definitly not be selling at cost, they'd be selling at a pretty big loss for a new game. Its not really suprising that most companies cancel misprices these days when theres people out there just wanting to abuse companies and treat them like wholesalers. Tesco are a big company, but i doubt they'd really want to be losing £8-10 on every copy they sell at this price.

No doubt those who say they'd never use them again will be first in line to order when the next new title shows up at £15.

i bet they meant to put the 1st on on at 15 quid, not the new one!
im disappointed to not get this but it was a below-cost offer.

I understand what you are saying and agree with you to an extent. However Tesco have seen off many wholesalers due to their huge market share. It is no wonder why you see cafe owners buying their stock such as bread, butter etc from Tesco. It is in fact often much cheaper than your local cash and carry!!

The bit I do agree with you on is in relation to abusing companies. However the same can be said for a lot of companies too. I'm not condoning those who have bought multiple copies, but it isn't all one way.
