I am very pale, I make Nicole Kidman look tanned.
Every foundation I use makes me look like a clown. I have ended up using tinted moisturiser over and over, if you see what I mean.Retail is the only therapy that works0 -
I don't spend any more than I did before -I spend..none.
I do wear lipstick on special occasions, but that's about it. Moisturise if I notice my skin visibly falling off or something. I've always been rubbish at applying it, and so look better without it. Mercifully, OH prefers the natural look, which is good as I wouldn't have the time if I wanted to. I've got fairly 'defined' colouring, so mascara etc would be a bit pointless for me anyway.
My DDs are desperate to wear make up, but I won't let them till they're at secondary school age. I've promised I'll buy them decent stuff then and see if they can get the hang of it better than I did. :rolleyes:0 -
Recession makes me buy more chocolate...

I thought the redhead from Girls Aloud had created a special range of make-up to suit as she has the same problem.
Make-up is one area that I can genuinely say I get value for money from - I buy what I need and use it all, even though I have 40+ lipsticks. The US is a really good place to shop, friends that go out there are always given a list to hand over at the MAC counter (I reimburse of course).
The other evening a friend popped round unexpectedly, I had been caught in the rain and was drying off so openend the door in my bathrobe which caused some amusement. Imagine the shock if I had been caught without make-up .Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
