Having seen the thread title I would like to join in, however a 'nice' person would wait to be invited.

By way of credentials may I (without boasting) tell you :

    1) I do make my own mince pies

    and

    2) Tonight I rescued a bunny rabbit, at the cost of ruining a pair of suede heels.

3)I remain concerned for the economy
    • I have a a hunch Dubai may not be the last 'shock', vis Tulips.
    • I expect graduate unemployment to remain high,
    • I aniticipate public sector jobs to be slashed in backoffice functions but expenditure on those same functions to increase as companies prices low to win business then charge evolving service needs as 'not in the spec',
    • My investment club portfolio which had just recently recovered to September 2007 levels has fallen a little again.
I look forward to hearing from you

The fact that I dont really want the stuff and haven't a clue what I am going to do with it is neither here nor there.

    Wageslave<--hangs head in shame.

I have lost all credibilty and will never dare show my font on the old style money saving board again:o

Can't remember if you were on the photos thread so it is hard to pass judgement on the quantity of make-up that would be a worthwhile investment...I started off so well but seem to be rapidly disqualifying myself from the nice people thread.

Are you lost? May I help you find your way to another thread? It is no trouble at all, I would be happy to help.

I have this snake venom stuff that comes in a weird syringe style applicator. I cover my entire face in that and them sort of start from there.

It's all very "Doctor X will build a creature" TBH

I am unsure how I look sans slap as I only ever remove it in the dark:cool:

I think your signature is proof positive that this is a karmic universe and I am now feeling a little of LIR mortification....

...but not quite mortified enough to delete her quote:rotfl:

I didn't mean to mortify you. I thought I'd really "arrived" in the forum community now that one of the regulars had made a comment about me that I could use a sig. Sad, I know. :o
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
