...... many boxers lose a stone overnight prior to a weigh-in.

True, I used to do a lot of weight training, I could be up to over 1/2 stone lighter after a good session.

It is all down to dehydration, that is why most boxers look more "cut " at the weigh in than when in the ring.

Being nice is just so boring.

My default setting is to hate everyone unless they prove otherwise.......
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

Not now, I stopped about 8 years ago. Just got a bit gym addicted for 7 years.

Still a bit beefy but a bit more a like a bulldog now than a boxer. :)

ps never a creep though, it was just for exercises not vanity.

I didn't picture you as a weight trainer either Really2. Guess you never can tell. Still the biggest shock of the day was seeing amcluescent describe himself as metrosexual. That was a fall off the chair and choke on my cereals moment.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

    :rotfl: Me too!

Another interesting idea for a thread - our preconceived ideas about each other. Would get moved to The Arms before you could say 'tall, dark and handsome' though.

Do you think we all do it, or is it more of a female trait?

Oh I always have been quiet a softy really, just that I was a fat kid and Weight training was my way out.

TBH the bodybuilders on steroids used to pee me off (generally they are the creepy/aggressive guys and any guy who is unnaturally muscular is lying if they said they have never touched them). Never really saw the point of that side to it, but each to there own.

As for the post you mentioned I remember that to. I had to look it up:)

So I guess the next question would be: what is a winter field? Is the field not there in summer? Where does it go?

Its usually the driest field you have access to, and has a higher weed-grass ratio, because it gets muddy, very muddy :( and damaged by that. You can also use it outside winter, but much of you life revolves around keepig your winter field as good as possible for winter...because its when animals are more expensive to feed and as much help as the earth can give you is welome. :D

eta: I am psittively reeling at the idea of a muscle bound really2. I just can't quite imagine it.....

Having seen the thread title I would like to join in, however a 'nice' person would wait to be invited.
....I look forward to hearing from you

Good post, though don't neceesarily agree about nice people waitin for invitations. Nice people also need to get behind good things and motivate, and lead by example. If it were a dinner party (which I would be delighted to attend) of course an invite is the way to go: if it is a social movement..such as this :D the thing to do is step up to the mark and volunteer.:D
