I put it on with my eyes closed.

    I'll start off then.

    The weather here is freezing.

I note that, locally, nothing appears to be selling, very little appears to be coming on the market either, either to rent or buy.

Home removal companies must be despondent. :(

It's baking hot here, beyond a joke. I reckon it got above 40C again and even with the air con on it was still 32C in the kitchen at 5pm! It's starting to cool down now and we're only forecast to be 30C tomorrow which is a bit better. The only trouble is that tomorrow I've got a 150km bike ride planned.

The economy's going pretty well over here. The job market is still quiet though.

Good morning, how are you all?

It is a rather grey day here, but there is lots to do and being British (Irish really) the weather is'nt going to stop me.

It is vulgar to talk about money, but what is a nice person to do when attending a thread on moneysavingexpert? What a dilemma, where is Katie Boyle when you need her?

Well I shall take the bull by the horns and simply tell you. Mr Spirit has just (yesterday) been paid a bonus - it is a 60% more than last year. It is not an obscene sum, but significant to us,he does'nt work in the city but for a charity.

We shall pay this straight of our debts as we do have some, a legacy from a time when the economy was booming but his then business collapsed following 9/11. We could not stop our outgoings quickly enough and incurred debts which we are paying down rapidly now.

    Weather - tick
Nice people - Katie Boyle - tick (could not get Joanna Lumley or Nigel Havers in) Oooh just did, tick tick
    City bonuses - tick
    Paying down debt - tick
Terrible event beyond our control impacting on job losses - tick

Mention of regular 'popular posters' in an ingratiating way....Mmmm tricky.

Mr spirit and I are having a fantasy dinner party and would be delighted if Pastures New, Single Sue, Lostinrates, wageslave, cleaver,Fc and generali were able to attend. It would be loley if you could all come, we are so looking forward to meeting you.

Sadly I am are unableto invite everyone to this fantasy on this occassion.

    Ticked all of the boxes.

Bunny rabbit appears to be doing well this mrning and we will get a vet to check it over. I just knew you would all want to know.

Niceness maintained for today me thinks.

Quite a sunny day here now although it was raining at 3am, 5am, 6am, 7.30 then I finally got to sleep so not a scoobie when the sun came out.

I would be honoured to accept the invitation to the fantasy dinner...at least it would be no calories!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Yes, I think thats probably right. but to just whip up a dozen or two is not always cost effective. I'm not sure how many Tomterm is planning on eating.....:confused::D

Given I've lost 6 stone over the last 18 months or so, I'd rather not eat too many. My goal is to end up on january 1st weighing less than I do today.
