Edit: if it helps at all, I have been informed by several fine ladies - including my current one - that I look like a younger version of Hugh Grant (he's 17yrs older than me). Personally I don't see the similarities, but there you go.
Just be a bit careful then if three years from now you fancy booking a holiday to Los Angeles...Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

You know, if you tried sticking to one person at a time (of either gender), you might find this relationship lark much more successful...0 -
Is it that hard?
Ooops - just realised setting myself up for a nasty double entendre, there. I'll re-phrase that - is it that difficult?0 -
Good evening all. Had a quiet day as my wife has been working. Did a bit of Hoovering, played on line scrabble and cooked a rather nice dinner. Now gently quaffing a few beers with my e-cigarette ( better than the 30 roll ups I did for years ). Pretty relaxed and a nice day. Hope you all had a nice one.0

I had a lovely day thanks Pobby. The weather's broken so it's nice and cool.
Took Mrs Generali out for lunch and went here:

A display home village. She loves it there. TBH I get a bit bored but it promotes marital harmony and I'm in favour of that.0 -

Mine wasn't bad thanks....woke to the sound of hail hitting my front door, spent some time surfing the internet and then finally got on with the Sunday Roast.
Going into the garden to dig up some veg and I dug up a humungus parsnip, never seen one as big...it was so big I had to take a picture of it to show my parents.
After dinner, a small time to relax and then to my parents for a visit and an evening meal, then onto taking middle one to swimming club.
Had a !!!!!! night though.....it was gone 5 when I finally got to sleep and now I am up for the school run!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Yes, I had a quiet day too. Couldn't send my DW out to work, but she and DD2 went off to one of these Christmas Emporiums in a garden centre and spent ages buying a load of tat, which has kept some Far Eastern economy ticking over, I suppose....
Thinking of Christmas, I sat down and wondered how I could show the family etc about the year's adventures without it costing an arm and a leg in printer ink. Decided to build one of those photo web sites and thought it would take about two hours.....Hmmm. I am still on it!
Dunno why I bother, but I'm just fed up with rich relatives dashing off a couple of lines and page of dodgy photos taken in exotic locations. I thought I'd up the stakes this year, even if I could only write things like: 'Here we are again at a car boot in Nempnettt Thrubwell....'
ETA: Looking at your post Gen, I think I got off lightly! 'There's perspective,' as my Welsh ancestors used to say. (probably)0 -
It's a monday morning, & it is a sunny morning here in the midlands
I'm actually horrendously sad, owing to reasons that some posters on here will be well aware of. I am actually dreading bumping into Inspector Monkfish
I spent all sunday putting together a bike for my friends 2yo. His birthday is just before christmas. A little swearing did occur, however all is pretty much resolved now!
Love the idea of a thread where we post the pictures we have formed of each other!
ooooo! thought of another joke - what have captain kirk, & toilet paper got in common?
Both wipe out klingons!
I'll get me coat....It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
If it's joke time, 'What's the difference between a car and a golf ball?'
Tiger Woods can drive a golf ball 250 yards without hitting a tree.0
