Which dress?! Theres been so many!!! :D

Yeah I am just over 5 7 but it not like it sounds! I am really broad shoulders, have no waist to speak of, and legs are fairly short considering  I look a bit blokey really. I don't like being taller than most blokes when I go out in heels- makes me feel like a tranny! But if I don't wear heels I feel frumpy...

Anyways, I must get off MSE & go round the kids up before I forget! :o

Wageslave, on health and beauty board there is a thread started by me last night....um ...er....

sjays reaction to the dress is, IMO, the MOST important thing.

sjay, I feel like a giant in my family....and I'm taller than DH in lots of shoes (he's a couple of inches taller in our bare feet) but I've kind of got used to it. TBF I wouldn't wear huge platforms out with him ( I have some amazing shoes that make me taller than every man in the room, and going to the loo makes one feel like a gnome on a toadstool...they don't get out of the box now...but not sure they would anyway) but ''normal'' heels....never kittens heels, I'm a proper heel girl....we just don't mind. I didn't marry him for his height.....

    I am a little shorter.

Wageslave <-- nips out and buys rusty fu cking razor.

I am not a midget. Honestly.

I have smallish waist and no shoulders to speak off. I have boulders for breasts and, as the brat pointed out just a few days ago, cellulite on my thighs that you wouldn't believe.

I will now go and eat worms

    cellulite is normal..

worry if you get a hairy back or something. Your daughter will get it...and if she's lucky some of your personality. A mixed inheritance. I've been using that L'oreal crud thats been out for ages.... but actually, using it nightly....not just once a week then complaining it doesn't work...it is working a bit... (I'm alco using cling film, which helps too I think....- sorry boys, I know it would be better if it were sjay in clingfilm....)

Firstly, Chunky, since I have no interest in appealing to your fantasies, your opinion aint relevant.

Secondly and more importantly. LIR, your right. I hadn't realised how much our fashion choices revealed about ourselves. I mean, I had read it in countless magazines but that is the first time I have actually seen it in action.

Actually it isn't but it is the first time I have been divorced from the oh I love that or oh !!!! I hate that feeling and just looked .

!!!!!! does my choice in boots say about me?

    Bliddy hell

It only says something about you on that day in that mood...not you as an entire thing...You cannot be defined by any item of clothing, or outfit. Thats the joy of womanhood...and I think you get this next bit...we are women....we wear different costumes, we can different people to those who come across us....we are a red lipstick, even if we never wear it, as much as we are a carefully painted nude face of make up. That last one is the most crucial...we paint our selves to look natural. I think its harder for women to be open books by our nature. Even those who decry that kind of womanhood are born from a tradition of it.......they do the the same thing...they paint emotion and politics on a nude face...opting out makes a statement, even a whispered one.
