Great on julia roberts in pretty woman. And puss in boots.

In real life most women don't have the thighs or length of leg. The ones that do might look like prossies. The few that could with class and want to are rare I think. when it works it looks stunning, but....when it doesn't there are two options: tart or river bank fishing.

BTW...you are slim and its highly likely you have great legs...I've never seen them...so it might be above knee length is right for you....these rules are based, like House price reportage ...on averages. ;)

Not high heeled over the knee boots, even I know they are not the thing. Flat, black, suede, does that sound ok?

I am actually shortar sed. Oh well they haven't been despatched them yet. I can always cancel.

    What about these.......

Link won't work for me.....I can't say whether I think the risk wader but appearance without seeing them....and really seeing them on you....but suede is the best option...so that sounds good.

I'm REALLY fussy about boots. I saw the most beautiful pair of boots the other day and almost cried because my legs are too fat ATM and I know I'll never love another pair as much as I love these. Pathetic. :o:o:o

edit: link now works...not the boots though....ok..they are ok, but might look like santa's boots in real life...try them on and see,

No its not! I think they have classic lines, wageslave will get the whole riding boot lines thing that appeals (possibly to her too)...I'm personally not keen on the sole, but its practical, and the top MAY or MAY not work in real life. You can tell till they are on. If they gape at all, it won't work....like santa's. Unless they are for a santa outfit, then a bit of gape might be tolerable.
  • Well, in my opinion they are Granny boots...

I look forward to reading the conclusion later...

Fluffy stuff around the rim on a black boot with a flat light sole does absolutely nothing for me... :)

    See you. lol

It keeps feet warm..which when they are going to be pushed underneath your legs later should be a consideration...

looking at the rear view of those boots, is t me or is one longer than the other?

Buy the beautiful boots and starve yourself into them. I have been shockingly fat in the past, and when all else fails, I recommend a diet of carrots and diet coke.

You will feel like !!!! but everyone will tell you how wonderful you look.

I don't know one woman who is happy with her weight. Every friend I have has some kind of borderline eating disorder. Either I am seriously unlucky or every woman in the western world is the same. Weight has become the equivalent of bound feet in the 21st century.

You are about the luckiest person I have come across. You have found someone who loves and accepts you and I can't even imagine finding that. You are a fine woman LIR and it heartens me that you have a happy life. It sort of proves that decent people triumph.

I still recommend carrying a bag of diced carrots everywhere.

Hi Ws. I always judge knee length boots by how they'd look if you had nothing else on. Not sure these are doing it for me.
    do you mean FMB's?

For the male fashion police, who I absolutely guarantee, live in tatty jeans and trainers.

    I actually bought these........

Direct from Bertie and much cheaper.

    Should I cancel?
