is on soon, and I am planning to request tickets as my Mother's Day pressie. OH not really a musicals kind of guy (are any straight men??) but is going to be dragged along for a night on the town anyway.

dressing down still goes as far as I'm concerned.t...unless kids are sharing a room with you. Valentines day is about love, spending it with family is good IMO.

I saw the show (a student production whilst I was a student; a truly golden moment). Wonderful music, just really 'special' atmosphere, feel.

This production is transferring from Broadway where it got great reviews.

I remember we went to Amsterdam for our 10th, also first time abroad without kids. Enjoy.

All this talk of Debenhams, where is the nearest? Don't think I've been to Debs since moving to the area, didn't even know there was one near (other than central London).

We went to Disneyland Paris for our 13th and 14th wedding anniversary....but the 14th was the real deal as it became the honeymoon we never really had. First class travel, best hotel in the resort, babysitter hired and a posh posh meal at the best restaurant.

We took the kids with us though.....

The rest of the time, we stayed in local hotels for the night after a slap up meal, although that got harder and harder the more children we got and the more their disabilities showed up!

Can't for the life of me remember what we did for our 15th, I expect we went out for a meal but we were also busy organising his 40th birthday party and I was going into mental mad breakdown mode due to major problems with middle son.

Um.. there isn't 1 very near. But there are quite a few around in medium-sized town centres, eg Harrow, Luton, Uxbridge(?) I think - can't remember. Not been to a wedding for a while - I think all my age group are as married as they're going to be. Shame people don't do parties for having babies - I'd have loads of posh occasions then. Sadly, though, that tends to be when the parties stop...

I had a phone call this morning, from an agency ... re a CV I'd sent in response to a job ad ... she asked how much money I wanted, so I couldn't resist. I said with a very serious voice, "Well, I obviously don't work for less than £250k" ... you could hear a pin drop! So I waited ... I heard a strangled noise .... she choked. So I said "No, I work for less than that ... how much is it paying?"

I've got an interview next week.
