Mickey Rourke and the boxing.....didn't he have an issue with the booze and drugs too? The whole plastic surgery thing is crazy.
K P has had her eyebrows lifted I think.
And Nicole Kidamn claims to have done nothing to her face....I feel I am the only person who thinks she looks really odd.
I think Mickey Rourke had a lot of issues. Actually I don't get the whole plastic surgery thing. I understand why people would want to make the most of what they have and why they'd want minor treatments (up to and including botox), but anything above that, particularly the whole size zero with plastic t1ts thing I just don't get. We should love ourselves for what we are, not pander to stereotypes, the Pankhursts must be turning in their graves.
Anyhow, early start tomorrow so must sign off now. Just made the mistake of browsing Debenhams website re this thread. They have lots of beautiful stuff and I desperately need lots of money and a posh occasion NOW.
In fact, sod the posh occasion, I'll wear them to Sainsbury's. Anywhere, any excuse. School run.
I saw this one and thought it looked a bit like a cut-price version of some of the ones fc suggested. Not sure about the lacing thingies...?

Nah, I would have to pay someone to take him! The next best thing was to let him marry my best friend..problem solved!
Eldest likes the tools...so far he has broken several, lost several and has plans for loads more.....I'm planning on having a mad afternoon with the paint tins and a big bit of paper, sort of expressing my emotions sort of thing, have heard it is supposed to be very theraputic (sp?) :rotfl:We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I think I will... .I just worry that they may have thought I am taking the mick...every day my post is the same...varying slightly with the weather...then I have to go up to London, wear something 'suitable' and the post sounds not true.:D
Problem is in my industry, people think you are clothes crazy and suoer groomed all the time when it's kind of the opposite...because it's work.
No, you'll have read that, for example, the stay at home mums where almost a uniform...and I wear the crud in the morning, and later, but try and change in the middle (sometimes I just don't, those days I just chat..really..mud splattered tracksuit is too depressing) ATM I'm doing at least four feeds a day (but in three trips..so lunch and then ...merinda straight after:o). at least mon-thurs....so relly tied to close to home and near mud friendly attire.
A few people are true fashionisti....lots of them are really young with few responsibilities, some are just committed a few are just....fantastic devotees of the art of styling.0 -

I think this may be the stiffer polyester rib fabric which copies the Herve Leger fabric.....but Reiss and Whistles use fabric that's almost identical to the HL stuff (which cost £1500) ....I felt it in Selfridgesso sometimes it's handy to wait for them to go on sale a not much difference in price to full price Debenhams.....but it's luck if you can get the style in the size once it goes on markdown.

carolt I will click the links tomorrow if thats ok.
I think it sounds as if you NEED to go out and get dressed up. Can you and OH get a baby sitter/grandparent in and have an evening, or even a night away? I only had one night with DH in Paris, and we have no kids to need space from* but a change of scene was blessed!
*I've just turned round to think about getting into bed. Cat 1 has moved the cat bed we sometimes have in the corner by pllos into a better position, middle front, like the best stall seats. Dog dog hasthe middle right side of the bed....only about 1/3 that side of bed left ...some above her, some below, and cat two is in the middle of the final third of bed. Any normal person would command the animals off, or at least move over, but I feel myself working out how to weave limbs around them and lie on a slant to get some bed space. I now remember why the hotel bed was delicious...0 -

Sadly, we're staying with my OH's grandma on Valentine's this year; I kid you not.
How much more romantic can you get?
We have our 10th wedding anniversary coming up in a few months - we always go away for a night but are planning our first trip abroad this year sans kids since...before we had kids.
V exciting.
Plus my favourite musical is coming up - don't tell everyone, but:

is on soon, and I am planning to request tickets as my Mother's Day pressie. OH not really a musicals kind of guy (are any straight men??) but is going to be dragged along for a night on the town anyway.0
