Tall? You're not tall. Neither of you.

You obviously don't hang around with properly tall men!

I speak with great knowledge on height related matters.

I am seriously into big men. I find they are very easy going.

I think taller people have nothing to prove

    I like your boots, ws.

I'd look crap in them, but if you liked them - and you know what you look good in - then the chances are they'll suit you.

    Let us know.

What a charmingly deep turn this thread has taken.

And how fascinating to be able - if only faintly - to imagine the outlines of our fellow posters.

Buy the beautiful boots and starve yourself into them. I have been shockingly fat in the past, and when all else fails, I recommend a diet of carrots and diet coke.

You will feel like !!!! but everyone will tell you how wonderful you look.

I don't know one woman who is happy with her weight. Every friend I have has some kind of borderline eating disorder. Either I am seriously unlucky or every woman in the western world is the same. Weight has become the equivalent of bound feet in the 21st century.

You are about the luckiest person I have come across. You have found someone who loves and accepts you and I can't even imagine finding that. You are a fine woman LIR and it heartens me that you have a happy life. It sort of proves that decent people triumph.

I still recommend carrying a bag of diced carrots everywhere.

If you're still up, ws, I just wanted to argue with you on this post.

Whilst my body is far from perfect, I'm basically totally happy with my weight. If I hadn't had 3 kids, possibly it would be more prettily distributed (though I suspect not - for some reason childbearing got rid of my cellulite (hurrah!) and redistributed my body fat to turn me from a 'pear' into a 'regular').

Maybe it's because of my OH, who appears to not mind me pregnant, thinner, fatter...maybe it's inherited from my mum, who's always been slightly overweight but never remotely bothered about it or even aware of it, AFAIK... but it's certainly not true that all women worry about or dislike their weight.

I worry about many, many things (house prices and money are two things in a long list...) but weight, mercifully is not one of them..

I'm sure you're gorgeous. Just love the person you are and the body you have.

I bet any number of others (naming no names) would love to have the chance to love it for you. ;)
